Bonne Chère’s beautifully restored stone cottages are simply perfect for families holidaying in France.
From the large grounds and huge indoor play barn to the heated swimming pool, this is a real family welcoming location making it the perfect holiday destination.
Within the barn there's pool, air hockey, and babyfoot tables, board games, toys for the kids, a wii games console and a climbing wall and large soft-play frame with ball pool. There's an outside games box too, which includes badminton, bats & balls, boules, Mölkky, garden chess etc, children's play area with playhouse, trampoline and a zip wire !
We provide three lovely, very well-equipped cottages sleeping between 4-6 (groups 16+) Whilst we are rural and surrounded by woodland and a pine forest, we are situated just 10 minutes from our local village of Malguénac and 15 minutes away from the popular medieval market town of Pontivy.
Pontivy is steeped in history, you can explore the 15th century château, walk along cobbled stone streets aligned with timber framed houses or view the contrasting Napoleonic buildings standing proudly alongside the River Blavet. There's boutique shopping along the high street, restaurants & bar's but also boat rides, canoe hire, trampoline park, bowling alley and a large park to enjoy too.
We’re ideally placed for day trips out to explore Brittany. Nearby we have the beautiful lac de Guerlédan and a short drive will take you to the coastline, or towns with medieval castles, enchanted forests, fun theme parks, great zoos, aquariums, water parks or accrobranching. This beautiful area has so much to offer you, you will be spoilt for choice.
Our cottages all have radiators and a log burning fire so whatever the season you visit you are always guaranteed a comfortable stay .Outside of "Peak Season" when we only accept 7 night rentals, we are flexible on arrival date and length of stay. Message us for a chat !
