Description
Les Volets Bleus is a pretty one bedroom stone cottage which is set in half an acre of peaceful gardens, within a quiet rural countryside location. The cottage faces south which enjoys the sun and is good for our grapes, but has some trees for shade when the temperature gets too warm!On the ground floor it has a large lounge area with a woodburner which can be used at cooler times, a satellite television, so that you don't miss your favourite programmes. Wifi available. The kitchen is bright and well equipped and the dining area is light and airy. Upstairs there is a beautiful large bedroom with views over the countryside and it has a comfortable king size bed. There is also a separate bathroom.
Outside there is a terrace area with patio furniture, sunshade and a bbq available. Lockable garden shed available for storage of your bicycles.
The garden is about quarter of an acre and is bordered by agricultural fields on 3 sides having mature trees and a lawn to the south.
If you wish to bring your pet, just to highlight that the property is not fenced, but has a conifer hedge around the side and front.
Parking is off road behind the cottage.

By Veronica Walters on 19-Sep-2025We spent a week here and it was far too short! An authentic, charming stone cottage with a lovely private garden set in rural surroundings. Utterly peaceful and beautiful. The cottage has all that is required for a most relaxing sojourn and offers all amenities for those who wish to self-cater or simply enjoy downtime. Good communications with the owners who live nearby and are extremely helpful. We would love to return and will ensure that we stay for a longer duration.
