Description
Saint Leon is a large gite with covered private pool. It has 8 bedrooms with 8 bathrooms (7 ensuite) and can accommodate up to 18 people and 2 babies.Saint Leon is perfectly located for exploring the delights of the Morbihan if you don't want to laze away the day by the pool.
There are many sandy beaches, the closest just a 25 minutes drive away.
The islands of the Gulf of Morbihan are also well worth a visit.
There are many good restaurants nearby and we are happy to give you recommendations, help with reservations and hear about the gems that you find.
Every day of the week there is a different local market to explore.
Other local attractions include:
The medieval towns of Hennebont, Auray, Vannes and Pontivy.
The historical villages of Poul Fetan and Melrand (Village de l'an mil).
Exploring the Chateau of Kerguéhennec, in Bignan with its statues and art expositions.
Seeing the animals at the Zoo ‘Les Terres de Natee’ in Pont-Scorff
Cycling or walking along the tow paths of the Blavet river or alternatively canoeing or taking a boat trip on the river itself. (Bikes and canoes are available to hire locally)
The many watersports available from the many beaches along the coast as well as wakeboarding in Inzinzac-Lochrist.
Fishing the many rivers of the region (local licence required).
Playing a different golf course everyday.
Discovering the many walks in the Camors forest or trying the 'walking in trees'. Maps are available in the gite
Or alternatively spotting the many birds and wildlife from the peaceful sunny terraces of St Leon.
Saint Leon is a large gite over 3 floors.
On the ground floor there is the following:
A large well-equipped kitchen with a table for up to 12 people.
A large sitting room with a log burning stove for use in the winter months.
A bedroom that can have either a large double or twin beds with an ensuite with a shower. (Please note you need to go up two steps to access this bedroom.)
A smaller second well-equipped kitchen.
A large room that can be either a second sitting room or made into a dining room to seat 18 people.
On the middle floor there is the following:
A bedroom that has a large double bed and an ensuite with a shower.
A bedroom that can have either a large double or twin beds and an ensuite with a shower.
A bedroom that can have either a large double or twin beds and an ensuite with a bath.
A bedroom with 4 single beds that has a family bathroom next door to it.
On the top floor there is the following:
A bedroom that has a large double bed and an ensuite with a shower.
A bedroom that can have either a large double or twin beds and an ensuite with a shower.

There are two terraces and a large barbeque and in the fenced garden as well as a children’s play area there is a heated private pool with a removable cover.
We live just next door so are on hand if required to help you get the most out of your stay.
There is space to park up to 8 cars.
Changeover day in high season is Saturday but flexible at other times in the year.
Check in is at 5pm
Check out is at 10am
Bed linens are included but not towels. Towels can be hired here if required.

All travels times are dependent on route taken and traffic.
There are airports in Rennes, Nantes, Dinard and Brest.
To confirm a booking we require a 25% deposit with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before the stay.
There is a tax de sejour that needs to be paid before departure.
It is maximum of 5% of the rental cost without tax and is determined by the make-up of your group. We can clarify this at the time of an enquiry.
A final clean is offered for €180. (Please note that this is not a walk out clean.)

For toddlers there is everything you need on site for them The pool with the start of the beautiful days was very appreciated We had a great weekend with friends in peace.
