Description
Situated in the village of Portivy on the ocean side of the Quiberon peninsular,an attractively decorated, well furnished house with its living area on the first floor.
The lounge and dining area face south onto a large terrace where there is sun most of the day.
This terrace is equipped with patio furniture for eating and drinking outside in the sunshine, a gas barbeque and sun loungers.
There are two large bedrooms, one of which opens out on to the terrace.
Beaches, restaurants, bars and a small supermarket are all within easy walking distance in the village and port of Portivy. For more services, including the weekly market, the town of St Pierre Quiberon is 5 minutes by car (or 10minutes by bike).
The owners live discretely in a flat on the basement floor of the house and will be there to meet you and are available if you need help or information.

Leave ReviewGreat base for walking, cycling and generally taking it easy!
By Paul on 20-Sep-2023We (retired couple) stayed here in September. We chose this house because it looked like it a good place for relaxing, walking and cycling... and it delivered exactly that. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and Cathy and James were really helpful and welcoming. The apartment is fully self contained, with a well equipped kitchen and lots of space, as well as a secure place to park our e bikes and a brilliant private balcony, to come home to and relax on (pleasantly warm and sunny in late September!). There are great short and longer walks from the house, as well as some excellent bike rides around the peninsula (and lots more a short driving distance on the other side of the causeway!). The house is in a quiet residential area - which suited us - and we found it very relaxing. A great stay.
Vacances formidables! Great holiday!
By Richard on 03-Sep-2023We would highly recommend a stay here. The family is franco-British with Cathy (French), her husband James (British) and their young daughter Charlotte. They couldn’t have made us more welcome and Cathy works in the convenience shop which is barely a five minute walk away. She reserved our freshly baked croissants each morning. They were a mine of information on places to go and to eat. The flat has both French and English TV available and although we were very lucky with the weather, there were plenty of games and books in case of a rainy day.
Fantastic holiday let on Quiberon
By Peter Bachelor on 15-Sep-2023The welcome on our arrival at the property was excellent and we were immediately impressed with everything about the premises, the owners and the location. The premises were spotlessly clean and well presented and the large balcony in particular was a real bonus and a great place to have morning breakfast and evening sundowners! A very short walk away was the little port / village with several sea front restaurants and a great bar. Quiberon itself was truly stunning with the contrast in beaches and sea front between the two sides of the peninsular. The best compliment we can make to James, Cathy and Charlotte is to answer the question would we go back again? And the answer is a resounding yes we would - and we fully intend to!
Lovely location with friendly helpful owners, perfect for our holiday plans
By Edinburgh family on 10-Jul-2023We thoroughly enjoyed our stay it was ideal for us and perfect as a base to explore the area and enjoy swimming surfing and sailing. The owners are very welcoming and generous with their local knowledge about everything from places to surf as well as to eat. Would happily return!
Ideal home away from home
By Barry Traveller on 29-Jun-2023The property was spacious and very well equipped in an idyllic part of southern Brittany, secluded but close to amenities and Quiberon.
Half term break
By The Heywood’s on 27-May-2023This was our second stay with James,Cathy and Charlotte and they are the best hosts ever ! Very welcoming , always around if you need any help or if you just want a chat . The holiday house is perfect for a family of four - every thing you need, lovely balcony with sun loungers and bbq and nice interior . Milk, orangina , beer and wine in fridge on our arrival. Great communications with James and Cathy before we arrived and Cathy even reserved our croissant’s every morning in the local supermarche where she works ! And it’s a very quiet neighbourhood ( well it was on the two times we have been in early September and end of May) It’s a ten minute walk to the best beach ever, and the same again down to the port where they’re a few excellent restaurants. We love the whole peninsula and is great for bike riders and walkers alike. Safe to say we ❤️ it
