Description

Threshers Barn is a Grade 2 listed barn from the early 17th century and has been creatively converted to provide cosy accommodation for 6 in three double bedrooms. Upstairs, a gallery landing leads to the master bedroom with original exposed beams, king size hand carved four poster bed, en-suite bathroom, and a twin room, also with original exposed beams, with en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. There is a full size cot upstairs. The third bedroom with zip and link beds and en-suite shower room is downstairs.
The rest of the downstairs is open plan, with a farmhouse kitchen with a large extending dining table seating up to 14, and comfy sofa, armchairs, and occasional tables. This part of the barn is very airy with high vaulted ceilings to the roof with original exposed beams and gallery landing.
The back door leads out into a courtyard overlooking the fields, where cattle graze and deer, foxes and badgers can be seen. A gate gives access to the footpath through the farm which joins with other footpaths in the area. Beyond this is a small exercise area for dogs.

You may park outside the front of Threshers Barn. There are a couple of steps up to the path across the rill. There is a step to the door leading to the courtyard at the back of the cottages too.
'We had an amazing holiday here. We loved the cottage, the farm, the surrounding are and everything. Thank you for creating so many special memories for us.'
'Second visit to Bakers Mill. Every need catered for, everything worked, very comfortable. We were lucky to have glorious weather and made use of the BBQ and the lounger chairs. All too short a visit but we'll be back again.'
