By Val & David on 07-Apr-2023A brief but lovely stay in Arwel. Explored a new area of countryside for us, got a bit lost but so what! Loved sitting in the top patio area listening to the wonderful sound of birdsong. A long walk onm Eastre Saturday and a cosy evening in front of the fire. Will recommend Arwel to friends & Family.
Always a pleasure to be here
By Emma & Peter on 02-Apr-2023Always such a pleasure to be here! We do the same things every year. Best of all is toast on the stone bench on a sunny morning and books in the back garden on a sunny afternoon. Walks to the beach, the waterfalls & the Church & of course fish & chips in New Quay. We will be back!
So Quaint & relaxing!
By Amber & Family on 21-Jun-2024After visiting with our puppy in Covid times October 2020 it was great to return to Arwel in 2024 with more of our family (and the dogs sister!) A Lucky Find!
By Ariana & Jeff on 10-May-2023What a magical place and lucky find. Booked late afternoon Friday and arrived to warm evening and perfect cottage. The birdsong was delightful, walks to seaside beach through woods, magical and 2 refreshing sea dips. New Quay was packed and we managed to see dolphins out in the bay. We have not been to this part of Ceredigion before and it is a real treasure. Cottage had everything we needed, Thank you!
Already looking forward to next visit
By Peter & Emma on 11-Apr-2023A Wonderful few days rest (not enough!) The weather was variable but plenty of walking still done and dramatic views of rough sea crashing against the harbour wall in New Quay. We always love coming back here and we are already looking forward to the next time!
Very Peaceful & relaxing
By Katharine & Aidan on 06-Apr-2024Thanks for a wonderful week in wales, with some sunshine too! A fabulous area to visit. We loved the coastal walks (managed most in the local area when wind not too strong. Mwnt, Cwmtydu, Llangrannog & Aberporth were all lovely. Enjoyed New Quay, even with crowds. Llanerchaeron NT house & Aberaeron are also worth visiting. Cottage is so nice with everything we needed & very peaceful & relaxing. Thank you
