Super lovely house. Beautifully kept and lovely helpful host. House was perfectly clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed there and more (board games, books, TV etc.), so it''s the perfect place for rain or shine. Spoiled for choice with local beaches and the best battered chips in Northumberland just 2 minutes away. Short drive from everywhere we wanted to see. We would definitely love to stay with The Elderton again.
A good location, close to the sea. Exceptionally clean property throughout. Plenty space for us with 3 teenage boys. Well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas and lovely bathroom. Great communication with the owner.
We had the most fantastic time in Newbiggin and surrounding areas made all the better by having such a lovely property to call home for our stay. The attention to detail is second to none. We were super impressed by the cleanliness and the facilities at the Elderton. The hosts were extremely attentive, giving a lot of thought and attention to the guide that was provided, making check-in and check-out a breeze. We were sad to leave and will most certainly be coming back.
Liked · Spacious and well equipped property in a quiet area close to the shops and sea front, nicely decorated, lovely touch with the welcome pack and bathroom essentials basket if you’ve forgotten anything, great rainfall shower and beds really comfy, lovely selection of books and games too which came in handy on the wetter days we were here for. Great communication from the host too.

I booked this place for my parents, they were in need of a relaxing break - it’s exactly what they got! Initial booking enquiry was handled promptly and they provided lots of tips and guidance on the local area and things to do… go to the local Indian Restaurant, it’s easily one of the best they’ve been to. Property was well located, clean, tidy and ready to go straight away. Parking was easy, as was getting out and about in the local community. Definitely one that will be booked again by our family.
