️Three Gables is in the centre of the village of Newbridge in a small rural village in the west of the Isle of Wight. Stay with us and wake up to our panoramic views stretching across the countryside accompanied by birdsong.
We are pleased to announce we have been awarded gold star in the Green Tourism by Visit Isle of Wight

We are at the end of a private drive with plenty of room for parking 4 or more cars. The house sleeps 10 adults in five bedrooms with 4 bathrooms(2 of which are ensuite) 2 of the bedrooms are down stairs making it ideal for those who find stairs difficult. There is also a toddler bed and 2 cots available. We are pet friendly (max 3 dogs) with a secure garden. The house is very spacious with a dinning table and seating for 10 in the bespoke kitchen and plenty of room for all to relax in the lounge. There is free wifi throughout the house.
It is the perfect base for large groups of friends and large families wishing to spend time together and enjoy a relaxing short break or holiday at any time of the year with the micro climate of the island giving weather that is often better than elsewhere in the UK
Patio doors and large windows give a light and airy feel to the house while good insulation and central heating make Three Gables warm and cosy in the colder months and solar panels provide the hot water in the warmer months.
There is a shop two minutes walk away (open March to November) a village shop 1.5 miles in Shalfleet open all year, three pubs within a two mile walk. The bus stop is less than 50 m from the drive.
The nearest beach Brook is only three miles another 1/2 mile further and to come to award winning Compton beach.
There are easy drives to local towns for shopping and the many tourist attractions around the island. The county town of Newport is only six miles away and historic Yarmouth is three miles away.
We are an ideal locations for all the island, close to foot paths and cycle ways, beaches and towns

Duvets & pillows on all beds, linen supplied please bring your own beach towels. The property is throughly cleaned before arrival. A selection of toys and games are available including garden games. The house and garden are child friendly, the garden is accessed via steps from the veranda to the patio, perfect for an al fresco breakfast, there are sloped grass banks and steps to the lower lawns it is fenced all round to ensure safety. There is a BBQ and garden furniture is provided for outdoor living. A high chair and stair gates are available on request. 2 cots and a toddler bed are also available on special request but please provide your own linen for the cots. Free Broadband internet access via wi-fi available throughout the house.
The property is not adapted for wheelchairs but is suitable for people with restricted mobility
Access to the property includes a step into the house. On the ground floor is an en suite bedroom(double), the kitchen, lounge, bedroom 5(twin)and separate family bathroom. Patio doors from lounge go to a decked veranda area, from where steps lead down to the garden. There is also an alternative garden access via a gentle grassed slope from the side of the house for those who cannot manage steps well.

Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable

Three gables was the perfect accommodation for three generations - 9 people and 2 dogs for our holiday. it was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. the garden was immaculate and the youngsters loved the garden games. Easy parking, enormous fridge and freezer for all our food. Kitchen was well equipped as lots of extras for the dogs too. if we come back to the island, we would most definately stay here again.

Comfortable holiday home

An excellent, well planned and very comfortable holiday home with a great garden and views. Three generations of our family (4 months to 74 years old) - and our 3 dogs - had a wonderful time with warm weather. So much to do on the island as a group - beaches (wild and more traditional sand and picnic spots), Butterfly World, Mottistone, Taplin Farm, Yarmouth Castle. Thank you Roma for arranging ferries, recommending some good places to eat and being so welcoming. We hope to back before long. (30 September - 7 October 2023) Ian Phillips
