Leave ReviewGreat Location
By Amy Baker on 09-Aug-2025Cambremer is such a beautiful village, well placed to explore the Cidre Route. We also managed to visit Sword, Juno, Gold and Omaha Beaches, so moving and fantastic memorials to our brave soilders. Unfortunately we didn't make it to Utah! The Property is great for village life, we didn't make it to the local restaurants Unfortunately but did stop for a coffee in the local Bar they were very friendly. The Sunday Market was small but fabulous, we bought local produce for our meal on Sunday! If staying here you must visit Beuvron En Auge it is stunning. The best cidre and apple juice we had was from Pierre Huet. I would just say that Unfortunately the rubbish is collected from directly opposite the Gite and it did get rather smelly especially in the heat we had! This brought the wasp and flies out! xxx
Very enjoyable time
By Ian and Lydia on 12-Jun-2025We had a very enjoyable time at the Gite. Both restaurants in the village are worth visiting plus the local shops that were not expensive. A good base to visit the surrounding towns plus the weather had been very warm.
Great
By Steve Hargreaves-Woodruff on 10-Aug-2024My wife and I have stayed here in the past, and have just decided to go there again in 2025. For our 4th time) The Gite is fine and well-located. It is brillianly located in the village square, 2mins from a great bar, Deli, butcher's, boulangerie, and a very good restaurant across the square - plus a minimart, so, the Gite is ideal. Plus just 30mins from good beaches. Cannot understand whingers. Fair and reasonable pricing is pitched just right for this Gite, and the owners are very helpful and communicative.

Great stay
By Scott Raske on 17-Aug-2024I stayed in this property for a week in August to escape the heat and crowds in the south of France and was very satisfied. The property has all of the amenities and was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is not a property for those who do not appreciate old world charms.
Traditional Normandy house in a great location
By David McCahon on 04-Sep-2024For us the best feature of this house was its location in the heart of this traditional Normandy village where we were able to have coffee in the little bar close by, buy bread and other provisions in the small local shops or enjoy a meal in one of the two restaurants. We also enjoyed visiting a local château, surrounding villages and nearby old towns like Falaise ( William the Conqueror’ s birthplace )and Pont L’Eveque and of course it was only a short distance from the ferry port. The house was clean, generally well appointed and well provided with good linen and towels. It took a while for the wood stove to warm up the house but it was great to have the stack of free wood available.
