Overview
Description
Come and Stay…Situated in Ayrshire, our Cabin is the perfect place to enjoy a remote rural break for couples or up to four friends. The cabin has spectacular views over the valley, its own garden, private avenue of Lime Trees, outdoor log burner/bbq and a covered seated area where you can simply relax and enjoy the countryside.
For those more adventurous we have our handmade adult wooden swing under the cherry tree, a set of polished mirror chimes to play or an old- fashioned game of peever (hopscotch) to burn of those extra calories from the complimentary chocolates and ice cream made on the farm.
The accommodation has a real home from home feel which includes a spacious bright open-plan living, kitchen (full size), and dining area with a vaulted ceiling and a large sofa which converts to adult bunk beds. The bedroom has a king size double bed, open wardrobe, chest of drawers and a full-length mirror. Bathroom has a walk-in rain shower, wc, sink and heated towel rail. There is a separate communal utility room with washing machine, ironing board, iron and drying facilities.
From rolling hills to the dramatic coastal scenery of Ayrshire, we are perfectly located to explore the South West of Scotland. We are 6 miles inland from the Coastal town of Largs, 25 miles from Glasgow and Ayr with numerous world class championship golf courses on our doorstep. The nearest train station is 3 miles away at Glengarnock and the cycle track is 3 miles from us. Our farm road is ½ mile long up-hill from the A760 road.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow Dogs to stay as it is a working Farm with Cows and Calves in the surrounding fields.

Leave ReviewThe most chilled place ever
By Sharp on 09-Mar-2024The cabin was immaculate with quality fittings throughout The bed was super comfortable & the views were amazing. Sitting outside on a cold night in the bbq area with the logfire burning was the most chilled place ever. The free ice cream was yummmmmm Going back in May & can't wait. Thanks to our hosts Alex & Jean for everything. See yous soon Tim & Lorraine Thanks to our hosts Alex Tips for other travellers We went to Largs and had a meal at The 3 Reasons pub. Highly recommended"
The views & comfort were second to none
By Murray on 19-Apr-2024I had a wonderful couple of nights in the cabin. The views & comfort were second to none. Really liked how well equipped the kitchen was. My only slight criticism for me personally as I was a lone female on the first night then my sister joined me on the second would be to have blinds or curtains at the main doors in the living area. As when it was dark it feels like you don’t have the privacy from outside. Especially as someone is sleeping in that area. I loved my stay & have already been telling everyone about it. I can’t wait to return soon."

Lovely cabin in idyllic setting
By Matchett on 06-Apr-2025Lovely cabin in an idyllic setting. Very relaxing and peaceful. Well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Plenty of information left for guests about the cabin and the surrounding area.Tips for other travellers The cabin is only 6 miles from Largs where there is a ferry to the Isle of Cumbrae and another ferry to Isle of Bute from further along coast at Wemyss Bay where there is the famous train station. Worth a visit! Nice restaurant at Yacht Marina, Largs called "Scotts". Beautiful scenery along the coastline."
