Surpassed our expectations by a long way

By Callum on 18-Mar-2023

A lovely welcome pack was waiting in the kitchen. Everything and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Kitchen was well equipped with matching glasses plates and cutlery. The central heating was easy to control. The television and little speaker that connected to my phone was ideal.

Lovely getaway along the Northumberland coast

By Mrs Graham on 15-Mar-2023

We really enjoyed our getaway to Captain Jack''''s on the Northumberland coast. Having never explored the area much before, my husband and I decided to try somewhere new and book a short stay. We were thrilled to see that the town of Beadnell is very close to the beautiful towns of Alnwick, Bamburgh, and within a short drive to Hadrian''''s Wall, Alnwick Garden, and a range of other historical sites like Lindisfarne Island. The house itself is a beautiful, cosy property within a five minute walk of the beach and even shorter walk of a few lovely pubs and cafes. We loved our stay and will certainly be back!

Lovely seaside stay

By Rose B on 22-Feb-2023

My stay at Captain Jack''s was charming. The property was very well catered, with a lovely welcome pack containing useful essentials, a beautiful bottle of bubbly, and some local biscuits, which we enjoyed while cosying near the fire. Also, as a nice plus, I got a cute tote bag that will be useful for carrying shopping and other bits and bobs. While our stay was in the middle of winter, I can confirm that I will return to the property in the summer to take advantage of the seaside. The property was also impeccably clean, and the beds were so comfortable. I had a very comfortable sleep. I enjoyed staying at this property and in the little town of Beadnell. The Craster Arms was a lovely pub with amazing staff and delicious food. The prices were quite fair, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Overall, my stay was very comfortable, and I now have found my new favourite seaside property! Definitely will be returning :)
