Description

Honeysuckle Barn, Noss Mayo, South Devon is a lovely stone built, 3 bedroom barn conversion close to the South West Coastal Path. Minutes away from the waterside village of Noss Mayo, it’s a must for those who love being close to the water. Part of a complex of grade 11 listed barns that used to be outbuildings to the local farm, permission was granted in the 1980’s to convert them so that their architectural heritage could be preserved. The history of Rowden Court goes back to the 1870s when Lord Revelstoke, formerly Edward Baring of the Baring Brothers Bank, spent a huge amount of money on his Membland Hall estate, consisting of 4,000 acres of South Hams countryside This included building a 10 mile coastal carriage drive for his wife, along which walks can still be enjoyed. Access to the drive and the stunning coast path is a short distance from Honeysuckle Barn.

Honeysuckle Barn, Noss Mayo, South Devon has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom one is furnished with a king size bed and has the added luxury of an en suite shower room. Bedroom two has twin beds whilst bedroom three has bunks. The family bathroom is off the landing and has a bath with shower over.
Downstairs, the lounge seats 6 on 2 comfy sofas with a small wall mounted television. The dining area again seats 6 and has views to the rear of the property across the lush gardens and the surrounding countryside.
The kitchen is fully fitted complete with oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher.

All the cottages share a communal laundry room complete with washing machines and tumble dyers. There is also a games room with table tennis and darts.
The South West Coast Path is less than half a mile away so you can be on the cliffs within minutes. The beaches of Stoke and Mothecombe are within easy access with the popular School House Restaurant on the Erme estuary only a few miles along the coast road. This part of the South Hams is great for dog lovers as so many of our beaches allow our four legged friends.
