Hilsea, Noss Mayo, South Devon is a wonderful, end of terrace spacious barn conversion found in the tiny hamlet of Netton, close to the waterside villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers. Tucked away, far from noise and traffic, Hilsea is the perfect getaway for family and friends. Close to wonderful coastal walks, beaches and village pubs, once you are here, you won’t want to leave!
This recently refurbished barn conversion retains its original charm and yet has a contemporary feel. Located in the quiet hamlet of Netton, yet minutes away from the heart of Noss Mayo, perfect for sailing , swimming , fishing, dining and sampling local ales, we really have the best of both worlds. The cottage is perfect for families , groups of friends up to 6 people or couples looking for a quiet getaway .
The layout is spread over 3 floors giving the cottage a light and airy feel. The ground floor has the 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Bedroom one is furnished with a king bed and benefits from an ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2 looks out over the front shared courtyard and has a super king bed which can be separated into 2 single beds for versatility in the sleeping arrangements. Bedroom 3 is furnished with a set of bunk beds, the bottom of which is a full double. The family shower room is newly refurbished and has a double shower.
The stairs to the first floor take you to the wonderful large lounge furnished with 2 comfy sofas. There is plenty of space for all the family to relax in front of the open fire and watch a good film on Netflix!
The kitchen is fully fitted with all the mod cons you could need including a large wine fridge (you do need to bring your own supplies though!) A large hand made wooden table seats 8 people comfortably and is an ideal focal point for those all important family meals.
Up the stairs again takes you to a large enclosed mezzanine space which has a sofa bed allowing versatility in the sleeping arrangements.
Glazed French doors lead from the lounge out on to a walled garden. The decked area is furnished with plenty of outdoor seating and bar b que. The garden beyond has been designed for maximum impact and minimum effort so is just a delightful space to sit back and enjoy those long balmy evenings.
A wooden door hidden in the walled garden leads you to the communal indoor heated swimming pool which is available from April to October.
