Description
A spacious barn conversion in the hamlet of Netton sleeping 12 in 6 bedrooms (2 double and 4 twin rooms), 4 bathrooms, with large living room with wood burner and a games room with pool table. Ideal for large extended families or groups of friends. It has a well equipped family kitchen. The house benefits from a sunny private south facing patio with gas barbecue and a sunken lawn garden with swing and slide. The heated indoor swimming pool is in the next door building (Please note it is closed during the winter months Nov - end of March). The property is located near the south west coast path and near Stoke Beach. The pretty estuary of Mothecombe is just 4 miles away and has a lovely sandy beach and glorious walks at low tide. The villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers are close by with shops and pubs. Noss Mayo has 2 waterside pubs, The Ship and The Swan, a park and 2 tennis courts. Newton Ferrers has a yacht club with nearby pub The Dolphin and horse riding stables. Plymouth is approx. 12 miles and has a railway station. The pretty seaside towns of Salcombe, Kingsbridge, and Dartmouth are all within easy driving distance. The picturesque Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island are approx. 15 miles away with large expanses of sandy beaches and restaurant. The property is a 15 minute drive from the A38 Devon Expressway from Exeter to Plymouth . Well behaved dogs are allowed at a charge of £50 per week. Linen and towels are provided. Bookings to commence on a Friday.. Please note that the house has quite a few steps and is not suitable for the very elderly and wheelchair access is not possible.Bedroom Details

By C.Hardy on 13-Jun-2025What a peaceful and beautiful place West Park is. Clean, comfortable and enough room for 12 adults to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Fabulous terrace area, sheltered and a sun trap with the added bonus of a great bbq. Highly recommend a stay here.
Fabulous house

We are a family of 12, 3 generations and it was perfect for the children (5-11 years) with the heated indoor pool and additional games room . The house is very well equipped and the area is simply stunning with coastal paths very nearby. We would thoroughly recommend it.
A very accommodating house!

Enormous living room, a kitchen table that seats everyone, comfortable beds, quirky layout, so peaceful, access to the swimming pool, logs for the fire, lovely coastal walks … a real find.
Great house
By Claire Hughes on 09-Jul-2019Great house, beautiful area Stayed here with 2 other families for an unbelievably sunny Easter weekend and had a fantastic time. So much to do nearby: coastal path, beaches, river, pub....and then a sunny sheltered patio to come back to for a glass of wine and BBQ with friends. The house was spacious, well equipped and the pool table and swimming pool were a real bonus. Mary the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. Lovely holiday, happy Birthday memories, thank you!!

By Elizabeth B on 11-Oct-2018We stayed Thursday to Sunday to attend our sons pass out from the navy at hms Raleigh in torpoint.there were 12 of us. 3 children included.can honestly say best UK holiday home we've stayed in x the pool was the icebreaker!lovely and warm x every one totally entertained some where in the property so plenty of things when the weather is poor.
