Wagon Hill exceeded expectations; photos cannot do it justice. Sitting on a hill the views are stunning and not having to share a pool with the owners is the main reason we booked this gite. It is comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need down to pool towels and bathrobes! The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and really appreciated after the long drive from the ferry; but this is one journey that is worth the effort! Brenda and David were very helpful, even booking restaurants and kayaking on the Dordogne for us! This is their first summer season and I can say they cannot do much more to offer the perfect getaway.

Our stay at Gite Wagon Hill was a wonderful experience. It was a very high standard of accommodation, where everything we would need or wish was catered for and the attention to detail was superb. The communication with owners was seem-less , nothing was too much trouble . Loved the pool , the view and the serenity . We will definitely be returning, thank you for a wonderful break way .

A fabulous stay with stunning views all around we were even lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a family of deer emerging from the neighbouring woodland. Beautifully decorated and maintained accommodation with everything we could have needed for our stay. Information of the local area and places to visit also provided by our hosts and after an outing to the local towns an evening dip in the private pool was the ideal way to end the day. We would highly recommend and will most definitely visit again.
