Over the years, we have rented a number of properties in France and Domaine La Palmere definitely rates as one of the very best that we have been to. On arrival we found an impressive property, comfortable and spacious, extremely well equipped, but above all else very clean and welcoming. We went as a large group (two families complete with grandparents, babies, young children and teens) which can be stressful due to differing needs - Fortunately there is something for everyone here, be that fantastic places to see and visit or making the most of the facilities on offer. And, what facilities they are – A massive swimming pool and games room that kept the teens and younger ones engaged for hours. Good wifi. Two big TV’s with a selection of recent films (including kids films) and a PS3 which even the adults enjoyed on occasion. From a practical perspective we found the beds to be fantastically comfortable, the linen white and crisp and the towels clean and fresh. However, as a family what we especially appreciated was the huge outside dining table which was shaded from direct sunlight making lazy lunch time dining a real pleasure. It comfortably sat all 14 of us and on the occasion that our fun or dining carried on into the late evening, the fact that are no neighbours within earshot meant we did not have to worry about being too noisy. In short, Domaine La Palmere is a beautiful, spacious and tranquil place that can comfortably accommodate a large and diverse group. Robert (the owner) was always extremely helpful and informative throughout our stay and responded immediately to our communications. We shall be heading back and would not hesitate in highly recommending this property! Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.
A group of my family and friends spent 7 days at the house to celebrate my 30th birthday; we had a great time. The place was ideal for a large group (we were 14 people). Larger than expected swimming pool, excellent games facilities and a huge outside dining table all catering to our needs perfectly. The location was a little more remote than we had anticipated, but this was not a problem for us as we chilled out at the house for most of the stay. We had a great time and would definitely like to return soon. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers.
Excellent accueil et disponibilité des propriétaires, endroit conforme aux explications reçues. Nous étions 8 adultes et 6 enfants (qui ont largement profité de la piscine et de ses jeux annexes ). Malgré l'isolement nous disposions d'une connection wifi et de 2 coins télé avec jeux pour enfants si besoin. Bon équipement général, une mention pour l'agréable coin avec table extérieur bien agencé qui permet à tous de se retrouver autour de la table avec beaucoup d'espace et à l'abri du soleil.
