The Camel Trail runs from Padstow , and is arguably the most successful recreational trail in the UK, providing access to the beautiful Cornish countryside along a disused railway line between Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow. As the final leg of the Atlantic Coast Express journey from Waterloo, winding alongside the spectacular Camel Estuary, the line was immortalised in 'Betjeman's Cornwall' as 'the most beautiful train journey I know' Perfect for a family bike ride with cycle hire available nearby .

Amazing stay - wonderful views
By Dean and Sharon Brook on 10-Sep-2021A wonderful bungalow in Padstow with the most amazing views of the estuary across to Rock. Ivy’s view had everything we could think of they even supplied some welcome supplies. We took our dog with us and there were some welcome treats for her too and she loved the garden. It’s location is brilliant a mainly flat 10 min walk into Padstow harbour also straight onto the Camel Trail. Such a quiet residential area. We had an amazing week in Cornwall and will definitely be back to Ivy’s view. We cannot recommend enough and Jo was so helpful with any queries we had. Can’t recommend this place enough
Lovely Holiday Bungalow
By Julian & Wendy on 21-May-2021We really enjoyed our stay in Padstow, and the bungalow was very tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The addition of the hot tub was great, and we enjoyed using it. It was in a good location within walking distance of Padstow and the Camel Estuary Path. The off road parking was useful too. The only minor criticism was the clear glass in the en-suite door and window, it could have benefitted with a little frosted section. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit Padstow.
Amazing accommodation in a fantastic location”
By l chappell on 04-Aug-2020Reviewed 4 August 2020 for a stay in July 2020 The bungalow is exceptional and one of the best equipped homes I have ever stayed in. The location is great, just a 10 minute walk to Padstow Harbour. Easy access to drive to the beaches and fun cycling on the Camel Trail. Definitely could have stayed longer. The Jacuzzi, BBQ and garden are great!!
Amazing location, fabulous hot tub and a real home from home”
By f lucas on 26-Jul-2020Reviewed 26 July 2020 for a stay in July 2020 Ivy's view is perfect for everything; 10 min walk into Padstow,a minute from the Camel Trail for cycling or walking, so many beaches near by, the bungalow has everything you need for a home from home stay including a hot tub! The views across the estuary are beautiful. The host made the whole booking very easy and was quick to respond to any questions. In this time of Covid 19, we also felt really reassured that all measures had been put in place before we arrived-attention to detail was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Excellent All round
By mr dodge on 09-Jan-2019Well positioned accommodation with great views of the Camel estuary. Good quality fixtures and fittings, especially the kitchen. Everything worked well, including the central heating that kept the place very cosy, along with the log burner. All was very clean and tidy. It's barely a 10 minute walk to the harbour and very close to the Camel trail for a walk or bike ride. We took the bus to Harlyn Bay and walked back to Padstow via the coast path which was stunning and took the ferry to Rock and the lovely beach. We really liked the welcome pack too!
lUXURY HOLIDAY IN PADSTOW
By BLUE CITY on 24-Nov-2016Gorgeous bungalow located only 5 minutes from Padstow, really enjoyed all the special touches and the excellent communication from the agent. Easy to park off road, exceptionally clean and all the mod cons - would be even more amazing in Summer to enjoy the outdoor deck!
