Description
Our lovely and spacious 4 bedroom, 3.5 baths apartment sleeps six and is located between the Champs Elysees and the Trocadero (Iena and Boissiere metro stops). With lots of space (2000 square feet), enjoy a gourmet kitchen, parquet floors and marble fireplaces in an Hausmanien building.This apartement is within walking distance to many touristic sites (Trocadero, Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Concorde, bateaux mouches, etc) and is located in an area that is residential, yet with many restaurants.
There is one one of the best open-air market in Paris just around the corner and a fabulous boulangerie-patisserie across from the apartment, along with many trendy restaurants as well as traditional brasseries and cafes in the area.
A park with a playground for children is just 2 small blocks away. Nextdoor is the Musee Galliera, the fashion museum and the Musee Guimet dedicated to Asian Art. For those who want a taste of luxury, the Shangri-La hotel and its restaurant l'Abeille (2 stars in the Michelin Guide) is 2 minutes away.
The Champs-Elysees are less than 10 minutes away by foot, and you can walk to the Arch of Triumph, the Eiffel tower or the Trocadero in 5 minutes. The start for the Seine river cruises (bateaux mouches) through Paris is a 5 minute walk, and both metro stops are 200 yards away. There is a Velib (bicycle rental) station across from the apartment.
For children, a playground located within a small park, the Paris aquarium, and an old style merrygoround located across from the Eiffel Tower are two blocks away. Other possibilities not too far include the jardin d'acclimatation which is an old fashioned attraction park located within the Bois de Boulogne that children love. A cot is available if necessary.
Our apartment is located in an upscale Hausmannien building and features an elegant decoration, complete with wall murals, parquet floors, marble fireplaces in all the rooms, and ceiling mouldings and medallions. It is furnished with antiques and many works of art for a true French atmosphere.
The apartment comfortably fits 6 persons:
- Bedroom 1 with a double bed, marble fireplace, and en-suite bathroom (bathtub/shower)
-Bedroom 2 with a double bed, marble fireplace, bathroom right across the corridor (shower+ toilets)
- Bedroom 3 with a double bed, marble fireplace, shower room next door
- Bedroom 4 with a double bed, marble fireplace, shower room next door
- There is an additional toilet at the end of the corridor.
- 3 of the bedrooms have a desk
The apartment features an oval living room and an adjoining formal dining room. It has a large, brand new, eat-in kitchen with modern appliances (including a dishwasher, microwave, high end robot and separate freezer) and everything needed to cook as well as plenty of dishes and wine glasses.
There is a single mobile air-conditioning unit for hot days as well as fans in each of the bedrooms. The 19th century cut stone building helps in keeping the apartment cool.
Getting around:
1) Metro stops "Iena" (line 9) or "Boissiere" (line 6) are very close by as well as many bus lines. The RER to Versailles is just 10 minutes away.
2) Buses 82, 52 and 22 as well as others close by
3) Velib shared bike station at the foot of the building
Please note:
1) Price includes all linens
2) Final cleaning fee is 150 euros
3) There is a refundable (if no damage) 1000 euros security deposit, payable 3 weeks prior to arrival.
4) Fee for extra persons (above the standard occupancy of 6) is 60 euros per person and per night.
House rules:

4) no commercial photography
5) Return the apartment in the same condition as you found it with dishes done and put away
6) Check in 4 PM/Check out 10 AM unless agreed upon with owner. An arrival time after 7PM must be agreed upon at booking time.

By Feroza on 30-Dec-2024You could not ask for more. Gaelle's apartment is beautifully appointed, comfortable, and huge by Parisian standards. We were a party of 3 couples and each couple had a spacious bedroom (with one to spare), and enough room to spread out. It is located in a convenient, but quiet part of town, easy enough to walk to the bus, metro, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysées and the lovely Wilson market, but private enough with no street noise. We were there in early December and the apartment was well heated, with lots of hot water in the showers. Gaelle is extremely responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again (and again). Thanks Gaelle!

By Michelle on 30-Jun-2025We were a family group of 5 and we had an amazing time at Gaelle’s! Gaelle met us when we arrived at the building. She was so friendly and helpful. We chose her place because we love architecture, old buildings, charming spaces, wood floors and antique or old furniture. I also love paintings, and there are many beautiful paintings there. We went to Bonon across the street every morning. We also ate at several restaurants on Longchamp or close by. The small market next door was helpful and the grocery store is close by, as well. It was great to experience Paris living like a local.

By Brett on 30-Mar-2025My family of 5 stayed the last week of March 2025 and it was wonderful. Host was amazing and gave recommendations and was very responsive. Check in was easy and great. The location was easily within walking distance of many sites and attractions as well of restaurants and more. The furnishings were great. Towels and clean sheets and the antique furniture was special. There was plenty of space for everyone. The apartment was private and secure but close enough to so much. I wish I owned the apartment! Matches description and pictures. I would definitely stay here again! We HIGHLY recommend this host and this apartment.
