Ideal for Families & Friends, Holidays and short breaks. The huge kitchen dining room (16 x 33') with seating for up to 24 makes it the ideal venue for celebrations.
The cosy Aga & open fires for winter. make it a great place for winter breaks .
There are gorgeous sandy beaches nearby. with caves and rockpools to explore Newport Beach where you can actually park on the beach nearly all beaches are dog friendly. From the upper windows you can see part of the famous Pembrokesshire Coastal path so ideal for walkers where it passes around our local beauty spot of Ceibwr bay. There are numerous local sports & activities such as coasteering, horse riding, golf and fishing to name but a few.
A variety of markets, galleries and craft centres to visit and the scenery is an inspiration to artists. Of course there are also several micro breweries to visit along the way.
Equidistant 5 miles from the market town of Cardigan with it's shops bars and restaurants and the estuary village of Newport and on the outskirts of the pretty village of Moylegrove.. Located not far from the Preseli Mountains in North Pembrokeshire, Hafod Grove makes an excellent touring base for exploring the 3 counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire.
The space
Hafod Grove House is very spacious and private and comfortably furnished. A particular favourite with our guests is the 32' x 16' kitchen dining room with seating for up to 26 guests. The dining area is spacious with comfortable chairs and two huge tables. This is an excellent venue for celebrations and family gatherings.
The kitchen is well equipped with an electric range cooker plus an Aga in winter. There are the normal modcons dishwasher, American fridge with icemaker, Belfast sink and marble topped island. There is also a washing machine and tumble driyer discretely located in the Hall.
There are also two large reception rooms one of which can double up as a 10th bedroom with comfy bedsettee, if you are an extra large group. The Aga in the kitchen is a real bonus for winter breaks and there are open fires in both reception rooms. A welooming return after a walk down to beautiful Ceibwr bay our local cove. and beauty spot.
Hafod Grove is the ideal place for celebrations and entertaining friends and family and the period features look great in photos!
Outside the Hafod Grove is surrounded by approximately 1.5 acres of private grounds with swings and lots of room for games for and things for children to explore. Situated on a quiet lane the House is set back som 90 metres from the road.
I must add that whilst Hafod Grove can be divided into two properties they are combined via a short corridor internally. please refer to the floorplan. Externally there are two separate entrance drives and parking for 8 cars minimum.
Please note I can only accept weekend (minimum 2 nightsy but guests can stay until 3pm on Sunday so no rushing off ) or Mid-week Bookings (minimum 4 nights) during Term Time. School holidays are 7 night Friday - Friday bookings.
Guest access
Guest access is normally from 4pm and exit is normally 10am except for weekend breaks when guests can stay till 3pm on Sunday afternoon. if you need to deviate from those times then please could you contact Diane Todd who has to prepare the House for guests. The price includes the Whole house please see the Floorplans in the photos. - excluding the attic and cellar. Hafod Villa can be hired separately and provides an extra 3 bedrooms en suite shower room and family bathroom and sleeps 8 guests. Please note that School Holidays are only let weekly Friday - Friday, New Year can be booked for a minimum of 4 nights

Hafod Grove is a self catering property not a B & B so Hand Towels are only provided in bathrooms. Individual towels can be provided at an extra cost and should be requested when you book.
One Toilet roll is provided for each lavatory.
Please note I can only accept minimum bookings for a weekends of Friday & Saturday nights which includes all day Sunday as well (as the cleaners don't work on Sundays) and Mid- week stays are Monday - Friday. I can also only accept weekly bookings during the school holidays.
The House is in a Rural/ Coastal idyllic setting within the Pembrokeshire National park. However we frequently have Tesco home deliveries which are useful for guests. There are many local sports and activities available as well as gorgeous sandy beaches. The area is a nature-lover's delight and ideal walking, riding or cycling country.
