Description
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish retreat with 5-star reviews… explore North Pembrokeshire with its stunning scenery, wildlife and activities, then come home to the Manse and garden overlooking the Cleddau nature reserve. Walking distance to the beach (forty minutes) perhaps via Melin Tregwynt woollen mill for a full Welsh breakfast! One well behaved dog welcome, downstairs only.We are an autism-friendly holiday home and official partner of Spectrum Holidays registered charity.
The space
Llangloffan Manse is a traditional Welsh cottage forming part of a former Manse to the neighbouring chapel, with three double bedrooms (one en suite), family bathroom, kitchen, dining room and sitting room. There is also a large garden with horse swing and wild nature area.
There is underfloor heating downstairs with radiators upstairs, and a log burner in the sitting room. A basket of logs and kindling is included with further supply available to buy at the property. There is also excellent WiFi, with Speedtest download and upload speeds shown in photos.
Apart from the owners on site, there are no immediate neighbours other than a herd of curious cows in the neighbouring field. The garden is fenced however please note this is livestock fencing in many places, which a determined small dog may get through.
Next door to the Manse is Llangloffan Chapel, an important chapel in the history of the Welsh Baptist Union and one that was used for services until recently, with baptisms historically taking place in the river a few minutes walk away.
Llangloffan is a small hamlet just outside Castlemorris, overlooking Llangloffan Fen nature reserve. It is close to the renowned Melin Tregwynt woollen mill and Abermawr beach (approximately a 40 minute walk through National Trust woodland to the beach) and ten miles from St Davids, five miles from Fishguard, with many other beautiful beaches within a short drive. Ideally located for exploring all that North Pembrokeshire has to offer!
Guest access
The entire home and garden is for guests, and the driveway is shared with us - our home is attached. There is space for two guest cars.
We like to meet guests and say hello in person, and will open up the cottage ready for your arrival. Arrival is from 4pm onwards and we ask that guests respect our departure time of 10am; this gives us time to clean the property ready for our next guests.
Other things to note
Please note when booking that dogs are only allowed downstairs, and should sleep in the kitchen with the door closed. We provide sofa covers and blankets for protection but dogs are not allowed on the furniture.
Dogs should not be left in the cottage unattended for any reason.
Bedlinen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and dog towels.
Finally we are only a few minutes from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

A very relaxing short break
By Caroline on 23-Oct-2025A very relaxing short break in this cosy, well furnished home. Sarah and Stewart were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming ensuring we had everything we needed. The house is situated in a quiet location in a beautiful part of Pembrokeshire yet only a few minutes drive from the main roads for exploring further afield. Lovely walk to the beach and Melin Tregwynt from the house and plenty of other places to explore by car also. The garden swing was a hit with the youngest visitor! Thanks for a lovely stay.

A delightful stay in peaceful country surroundings
By Alison on 29-Aug-2025A delightful stay in peaceful country surroundings. Lovely cosy, comfortable accommodation with a super wood burner when needed. We really enjoyed having breakfast outside and had fun with the swing and passing cows! The hosts are super friendly and helpful; but in no way intruded. Would highly recommend.

A lovely, peaceful holiday home
By Nick on 10-Aug-2025We had a great stay. A lovely, peaceful holiday home, tucked away in a quiet rural location. Plenty of games/Lego for the kids to get stuck into, and a good selection of old books and DVDs for everyone. Sarah was always quick to respond to any questions; friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely consider a return visit.
