Vintage charm meets modern comfort in Little Avalon, our 1850s labourer’s cottage. Original granite fireplace, exposed beams, and historic décor await. The cottage is complete with all modern amenities, yet still honours the building’s traditional Cornish heritage. Through the front door is a new country style kitchen diner. Beyond that you’ll find the lounge which oozes historic charm and a cosy wood-burner set in a monumental original granite fireplace. A great space for relaxing in front of a roaring fire with a book! The first floor en-suite bedroom offers panoramic views of the Cornish countryside, Little Avalon wows with its quaint and timeless rural charm. For that perfect Falmouth cottage holiday guests can enjoy those long summer evenings in their own enclosed Cornish garden as well as access to the woods, orchard and meadow to the rear which includes a campfire area – all perfect for picnicking! GROUND FLOOR: Kitchen/Diner: Electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, dining table and chairs. DAB radio with bluetooth for music streaming. Lounge: Smart TV, 1 two-seater and 1 three-seater sofa, wood-burner, coffee table, games! Bathroom: Shower over bath, basin, heated towel rail. By Alex on 22-May-2025All in all, an absolutely gorgeous place - Excellent scenery and wonderfully situated to witness a great Cornish sunset over the rolling hills. The accommodation was exceptional, with an outstanding layout and plenty of room. Very much a homely feel! Id happily recommend anyone to try this lovely accommodation - Very close to Falmouth, and very easy to find. 10/10!
Entire experience was above and beyond
By Benjamin on 15-Aug-2025Entire experience was above and beyond, was there to help if needed but let us get on with things at our own pace. Beautifully clean and a very cozy environment to come back to after a day out. Was also very easy to communicate with and ask questions.
Great spot

The cottage’s is very comfortable and has a beautiful outlook set in lovely countryside. Richard was very helpful and on site if you needed anything. We would certainly stay again. Thanks Richard for a lovely stay.
Really wonderful Stay
By Billy on 14-Sep-2025Really, really wonderful stay. Cottage was brilliant, within an hour's drive of anywhere in Cornwall, fantastic if you want to explore. The cottage & gardens are spacious and peaceful, supermarket a few minutes drive away, kitchen fully stocked with everything you'll need. Hosts are very welcoming and offer lots of local knowledge. Highly recommended cottage for a couple.
