Description
This stunning 2 bedroom property provides spacious accommodation for four people with front row sea views of Mounts Bay and a private balcony. The spectacular views from the master bedroom and the open-plan living room are all you need for a relaxing stay in PenzancePrivate gated parking is available, however you can leave the car at home as it is a short (4 minute) walk to the train and bus stations, so you can explore the whole of West Cornwall by public transport. It is also just a short walk to the Isles of Scilly ferry.
There are two bedrooms:
- Master bedroom (bedroom with King size bed overlooking the sea)
- Twin room (bedroom with two single beds or a Super king bed) please state preference on booking, default is a Super king.
The living room has a TV and DVD player and broadband is available throughout.
Access to the property is via one and a half flights of stairs or take the lift and avoid all steps.
The flat is perfectly located right on the edge of the town centre, just a 4 minute walk to the harbourside cafes and restaurants, or take a stroll along the beach or cycle path to St Michaels Mount.
Penzance offers something for everyone; beaches, rock pools, coastal path walking, watersports, fishing, swimming with horses, National Trust and English Heritage sites, cream teas, pasties, restaurants and galleries.
Take a walk along the sea front promenade to the popular towns of Newlyn and Mousehole, stopping at the art deco seawater lido for a dip on the way.
With all 3 corners of the South West coastline accessible via a short drive, there's plenty to see and do:
5min - Marazion Beach (St. Michael’s Mount and the Giant’s Causeway)
1min - Penzance (tea shops, pasty shops, high street, seafront promenade, harbour, meaderys)
14min – Trencrom Hill (see all the whole panorama of the south west coastlines from the top)
16min – St. Ives (Tate Gallery, Barbara Hepworth Museum, fish ‘n’ chips, ice cream, art galleries, tea rooms, boat hire from the harbour, surf lessons and seafood restaurants)
18min – Gwithian (surf beach, sand dunes, 3 miles of soft golden sand, National Trust coast path walks, seal cove)
22min – Lands End ( mainland Britain’s most south westerly point and one of the country’s most famous landmarks, stunning views from the cliff tops and various attractions to keep the kids entertained)
23min – Porthcurno (beautiful beach and open air theatre carved into the cliffs)
60min – Eden Project (huge tropical gardens in giant biomes, named by some as the 8th wonder of the world.)

By Fiona Willis-Nunez on 27-Dec-2025We truly enjoyed everything about our week in this beautiful apartment with the most amazing view over Mount's Bay. The small balcony allows you to admire the view even better, (although in the cold December wind we only managed a few minutes). The rooms are a good size, the decor is light and bright, the beds are comfortable, and there is an adequate amount of storage to keep a week's worth of belongings and suitcases in order. We found the apartment very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped, with a large fridge/freezer. We loved that the owner had left some very nice touches including a Christmas tree since we stayed over the holidays, some holiday sweet treats and basics in the fridge which we appreciated hugely as it meant we did not have to go out to the shops immediately when we arrived. She has also put together a very informative folder full of local information which we found useful. The gated parking was a real bonus for us, as was the very close proximity to the train and bus station (we had worried that having the train line so close would be noisy, but it was not, as it's the end of the line and the trains are all travelling very slowly. The sounds you hear are those of the wind, the waves and the seagulls; much more pleasant!). We were very happy with all communications with the owner, including the rapid return of the security deposit after our stay. We will be coming back!
Ocean View Perfection
By Miriam Stark on 20-Sep-2025Ocean View provided an ideal holiday experience for us with its outstanding views of Mount's Bay and its proximity to the amenities and transport hub of Penzance. It has a comfortable, relaxing feel, is very clean and well maintained and equipped. The sunrises over the Mount and perfect sunshine were an added bonus. Emma is a gem of a hostess, friendly, responsive, efficient and patient throughout the booking process and the visit.
Great, modern and spacious

The sea view over to St Michael's Mount made it and the location into Penzance and along the coast to Marazion and Mousehole couldn't have been better. The welcome basket of Cornish and sea salt goodies was a nice touch too, thank you Emma, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Stunning apartment.

It’s our favourite place we’ve stayed in Cornwall since we started coming each year around a decade ago. Communication with Emma was really easy and check-in info was very simple and clear. Would highly recommend!
Really enjoyed our stay

The rooms are spacious and airy, and it was a great place to return to at the end of a busy day at the beach, as well as exploring what this part of Cornwall has to offer. Would definitely look to stay there again!
Amazing apartment

Conveniently located near multiple supermarkets and walking distance to Penzance town. The apartment was pristine with excellent amenities including a selection of toys and games for the kids. It was so well equipped. The host provided a very helpful folder with lots of information which came in very handy. The host was extremely responsive. I would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back :)
