Inside Sycamore Lodge
Sycamore Lodge is a spacious and luxurious self-catering holiday lodge, with a contemporary design and furnishings. The living area overlooks the beautiful open countryside and has floor-to-ceiling windows.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for a self-catering stay, including a large fridge freezer, a gas hob, an oven, and an island with a five-ring hob, dishwasher and wine cooler.
Three beautiful bedrooms are waiting for you down the hall - including an impressive master bedroom with ensuite bathroom featuring walk-in shower. Two twin rooms complete the sleeping arrangement.

Entertainment For All
We have the whole family covered with the smart entertainment system in our stylish lodges. Throughout the lodge you can stay connected to our high speed WiFi. Simply pop in the password and connect your devices, ready to post holiday snaps, watch a movie, or plan tomorrow’s adventure.
In the lounge are you will find a large LCD Smart TV with PS4 and Google Chromecast, bringing movies, sport and catch-up TV to your fingertips. There are also wall-mounted TVs in all three bedrooms for those lazy mornings… you are on holiday after all!
Outside Sycamore Lodge
Outside the lodge, there is expansive decking for you to enjoy some outdoor living. You can take a relaxing soak in the private hot tub, or simply sit on the comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy your peaceful surroundings. There is also a barbecue if you fancy a little al fresco dining.
Sycamore Lodge has views overlooking the childrens play area - perfect for families to keep an eye on their little ones from the comfort of their lodge.
Dog Friendly
We know how much fun it is to bring your dog on holiday with you, and with miles of stunning Yorkshire countryside on our doorstep, Sycamore Lodge is the perfect place for a dog friendly short break.
Dogs are charged £8.00 per night per dog. We provide bowls for your dog during your stay, and also some treats. Holiday collar tags with our contact details on are available from reception, for you to use during your stay.
Sycamore Lodge can accommodate a maximum of three dogs.

By Claire blewitt on 23-Apr-2024Booked the Sycamore Lodge and a pod for 2 nights with family and friends for my 40th birthday celebrations. We were blown away by the whole place the grounds are beautiful maintained the lodges are absolutely stunning and fully equipped with everything you would need. The hot tub is a really good addition to the lodges, although the temperature is locked at 38.5 degrees which was a little cooler for my liking and was advised the temperature could not be made any higher due to health and safety reasons. which was slightly disappointing as a couple of the girls found it to cold for them to use. I have recommended high oaks granges to multiple people since coming home and I will definitely be booking another stay soon. Thank you for a lovely stay
Lovely lodges for a girls trip!
By Caitlin H on 04-May-2024Beautiful accommodation, we stayed in Sycamore Lodge which was perfect for a group of friends. Loved the hot tub and the dressing gowns were a lovely touch! Beautiful location too, we enjoyed a walk in the morning at nearby Dalby Forest. Would definitely recommend, the little touches like the yummy ginger biscuits and local coffee were appreciated too :)
A wonderful long weekend at High Oaks Grange!
By Carl G on 27-Jul-2024We stayed in Sycamore Lodge & had a wonderful long weekend. It was amazing, modern & clean. All appliances & utensils are provided as well as towels. The site itself is quiet & clean & set in a lovely rural setting. Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay & York are within reach in the car. I would highly recommend a stay here.
Doggie getaway

Great points are the open plan space, kitchen facilities, hot tub, comfy beds, scrupulously clean, cosy and warm. A couple of things to have made the stay more comfortable would be larger and more comfy sofas, it was a squeeze for 6 adults. There isn’t a proper shower in the main bathroom, it’s hand held over a bath, so we all ended up using the Ensuite. The hot water was scalding until we turned it down on the boiler. The dogs are well catered for with bowls and biscuits. The grounds are great for walks. Peaceful and away from the fireworks. This is our second stay at High Oaks and we will definitely return.
Ideal venue for family celebration!
By HB on 03-Dec-2024Stayed in Sycamore for a celebration weekend with family. The lodge was spacious for the 3 couples, well equipped and clean. Comfy bed. Kids loved the hot tub! Took 2 dogs and we could walk them easily in the mowed field. Welcome packs were a treat for us and the dogs!
Fabulous site and accommodation
By Jules F on 13-Mar-2025Sycamore Lodge was really beautiful with every home comfort you need, very modern and the comfiest beds. Well equiped kitchen, towels, robes & slippers for each guest. Hot tub was appropriate size for the lodge and cleaned each morning. Beautiful surroundings and only 30 min walk into Pickering.
