Description
Tredenham is a high quality, well equipped family house 4 minutes' walk from the shops and the beach. There are stunning views over Polzeath Bay and Pentire Head to the front to the rear there over farmland to the distant downs in the south. There is a small south-facing garden which is secluded and safe for small children.The holiday cottage, Sleeps up to 8 people - 2 double beds upstairs both with ensuite shower rooms and one with full width balcony, downstairs 2 twin-bedded rooms (one with wash-basin) and a family bathroom, including walk-in shower, bath, basin, and loo. There is also now an outside warm shower for after the beach or surfing.
The small secluded, south-facing garden at the back is not overlooked and has a wonderful view. Mostly lawn, it is a lovely place for a quiet read, to sit and enjoy the sun, or to enjoy a welcome drink. There are chairs and tables and a Weber charcoal BBQ.

By Katya on 25-Oct-2025This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we have thoroughly enjoyed our visit on both occasions. The house is well laid out throughout and spacious enough not to get under each other's feet. A sweet little garden at the rear has uninterrupted views of farmland and this further adds to the sense of space and openness. The house is in walking distance of the beach and the village and, especially in busier weeks when parking in Polzeath is difficult, this makes things so much simpler for any water / beach enthusiasts - it's all just a stroll down the hill. All in all, a delightful place to stay - we're already talking about going back again.
Great base for a holiday in/around Polzeath
By R Jones on 13-Sep-2025This is our second holiday at this lovely seaside cottage which we find spacious, well located, homey, with a lovely garden and great views. We particularly like the two large ensuite bedrooms upstairs with sea and countryside views, the large sociable back living room and the very well kitted out kitchen. We love Polzeath and look forward to booking this cottage again next year!

The close proximity to the beach is a bonus. And it’s a pleasure to return to the comfort of the house after a days surfing.

Christopher was very responsive to any queries. We will certainly be staying again. The back garden is a lovely size for BBQ’s. Thanks for a lovely stay 😊
