By Rebecca Ketteringham on 01-Feb-2025A beautiful, clean, warm cottage only a 5 minute easy walk to the stunning beach and coast path. Would highly recommend. Excellent communication from host and the cream tea and extra logs were very welcome. Thank you.
I didn't want to leave.
By Ashley James on 03-Mar-2025A truly stunning cottage, located in quiet valley. Garden is beautiful which has a stream running through it. (Wildlife spotted include many birds and even deer). Inside, the cottage is very cosy, warm and well equipped. Includes extra toilet/shower for post beach wash downs. I didn't want to leave.
Our second holiday in this amazing place
By Andy Holt on 03-Mar-2025Our second holiday in this amazing place. Set in a silent valley just a few minutes walk from one of the most amazing beaches in Cornwall this location and the cottage are both incredible. It's a lovely warm house, brilliant kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. Loads of parking and amazing outdoor space for the dogs to run about too! Thank-you to our hosts, hopefully we'll be back. Cheers x
Warm, cosy & clean cottage
By Paul Davies on 01-Sep-2024When we arrived we entered a warm, cosy & clean cottage. Well equipped & furnished. The garden is beautiful & wished we could have spent more time in it. In spite of the wet weather we waled every morning to the beach, cafe / shop for a coffee/pastries. The photo gallery does not give the cottage real credit ! We had a peaceful & relaxing stay.
Wonderful first stay at Porthcothan Mill Cottage
By Karen M on 04-Jun-2024We are just back from our wonderful first stay at Porthcothan Mill Cottage. It was clean, eclectic and warm. It is an incredibly cosy and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location. It was wonderful being able to walk to the beach - we’ve always stayed in places that need a car journey and all the hassle that entails. We dipped in the tidal pool at low tide on our first evening. The beach is life guarded and the little shop has all you need. Weather wasn’t always great - but the wood burner, games and books forced us to relax and test our cocktail making skills. We will definitely return.
Charming cottage
