Description
Manor House West Wing is one of 18 cottages on the Broomhill Manor Estate. Located just a mile from Bude and the wonderful North Cornish coastline, Broomhill Manor is an oasis of peace, with facilities for all members of the family. We have both a heated outdoor swimming pool (open during the Spring and Summer months) and an indoor swimming pool complex with hot tub and sauna. Also located in the complex is a gym and treatment room (choice of treatments available at extra cost). Outside we have a tennis court, a large sandpit and children's play areas with trampoline, swings and slides and a magnificent 'baby Broomhill' play house. For rainy days we have an indoor games room with a ping-pong table, a pool table and table football. There is also an under 6 playroom with a variety of toys, games and puzzles to keep your younger members of the family entertained.Elegant and spacious, the West Wing is our largest and best appointed 'cottage' and is located in the Manor House. On entering through a private entrance on the ground floor into a large hallway, a staircase leads to the accommodation; there is a twin bedroom on the half landing and the main accommodation is on the first floor of the Manor House. The West Wing sleeps six and comprises a large open plan lounge/kitchen overlooking the main lawn and a separate dining room with sea view.
There are three bedrooms, one double with king sized bed and ensuite bath/ shower, and two twin bedded rooms. There is plenty of room for two cots if required (one each in the double and one of the twin bedrooms.)
There is a second family bathroom with bath/shower over.
At the rear of the Manor House is an outdoor area which catches the sun throughout the day and into the evening and has a dining area and gas BBQ for your exclusive use.

Leave ReviewBeautiful place for a family with young kids
By TAVL on 10-Jul-2024We had the loveliest week at Broomhill and it was exactly what we were looking for - a place to relax in the countryside where our children (ages 4 and 6) could play, whether in the pool, sandpit, or playgrounds. Highlights included: homebaked scones (some of the best we sampled in Cornwall), cocktails while our kids played outside, the grill in the front, laundry, stables next door which accommodated our last-minute request for pony rides. Everything was so well-maintained, clear and comprehensive information and instructions in advance of our arrival. We did a combination of day trips (Padstow, Tintagel, Cardinham Woods) and staying in and enjoying the facilities. We would love to come back again! Thank you to Philip, Louise, and their daughter who baked the delicious scones :)
Perfect in every aspect
By Julie M on 16-Jul-2004We have just returned from a fabulous multi generation family holiday at Broomhill, with ages ranging from 65 down to 2, in 4 cottages. Our 2nd visit this year, loved it so much the first time had to come back with all the family!! So much to do at Broomhill itself and also the stunning surrounding area. Beautiful beaches, fabulous eateries, wonderful coast path dog walks, and so much for the children to do. 100% the best thing of Broomhill are the exceptional owners Philip and Louise, nothing is too much trouble and they go over and above to ensure there is everything you need for a perfect holiday. Heaven on Earth
By Jack M on 20-Jul-2024Having stayed here about 25 times since 1988, once again the place exceeds all expectations every time we go back. We've now been twice since Philip and Louise took over, and the improvements they've made to broomhill are excellent, while still maintaining all the charm of the place from when I first visited. They are superb hosts, really making an effort to get to know us and our family, while also helping us meet other families which was great for the kids. We've already booked to come back next year and we're counting down the weeks already!

By Melissa L on 06-Aug-2024We love Broomhill Manor! We're just back from our 2nd stay there, and have already re-booked for next year. Typically, we like to explore new places when we go away, but it seems we're stuck with Broomhill, as anywhere else in Cornwall will disappoint by comparison! The facilities are second to none, with loads for the kids to do, come rain or shine. The cottages are immaculately clean and stocked with everything you could think of needing. But what really sets Broomhill apart (and what we'd struggle to find elsewhere), is how Philip and Louise create an environment in which the all the kids make friends and enjoy hanging out with each other. 'Bar Night' is held 3 times a week and is greatly anticipated by kids and adults alike. While the grown ups enjoy drinks on the terrace, the kids all played a huge game of hide and seek in the grounds (which even the teenagers joined) , football on the green, or simply hung out in the sandpit or games room. Thanks for another wonderful holiday! See you next year! :)
Perfect Family Holiday

Another Amazing Holiday

The cottages are all beautiful (and we have stayed in most of them) the facilities are just perfect but most of all Philip, Louise, Xanthe and Inca always make our holiday so special with their warm, friendly welcome. They cannot do enough for us and make our stay so relaxing. It is definitely our happy place and we cannot wait for return for year 14!
