Description
Fulmar Cottage is one of 18 cottages on the Broomhill Manor Estate. Located just a mile from Bude and the wonderful North Cornish coastline, Broomhill Manor is an oasis of peace, with facilities for all members of the family. We have both a heated outdoor swimming pool (open during the Spring and Summer months) and an indoor swimming pool complex with hot tub and sauna. Also located in the complex is a gym and treatment room (choice of treatments available at extra cost). Outside we have a tennis court, a large sandpit and children's play areas with trampoline, swings and slides and a magnificent 'baby Broomhill' play house. For rainy days we have an indoor games room with a ping-pong table, a pool table and table football. There is also an under 6 playroom with a variety of toys, games and puzzles to keep your younger members of the family entertained.Converted from an old cob barn, Fulmar features walls over two feet thick! Fulmar accommodation has been tastefully renovated in a contemporary style, comprising an open plan ground floor with lounge/dining area and fully equipped ‘Shaker’ style kitchen with cooker, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Also on the ground floor is an attractively decorated bedroom with twin beds.
Upstairs there is a large and airy double bedroom with king size bed and plenty of room for a cot, and a well appointed shower room with power shower.
The cottage is fully centrally heated and opens onto an attractive walkway lined with hanging baskets and fig trees. There is a table, seating and gas BBQ right outside your cottage with plenty of room to sit and relax!

By Clarissa H on 03-May-2024This is our third time here and as always we had a great time with 16 and 13 year old kids. Indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and dry sauna a godsend in wet weather. Games rooms great fun and we had some good games of tennis too! Well placed for walking across the golf course to Bude and the local pub! Beautiful gardens which were 'eggcellent' for our Easter egg hunt! Looking forward to our next trip here as we will certainly be back!
Fantastic Family Holiday
By Cassie W on 24-Jun-2024We had a fantastic stay at Broomhill, so much so that our 4-year-old sobbed when it was time to leave. The cottages are light and airy but also nice and cool. Having the barbecue area just outside and the picnic benches by the sandpit and play room, meant we could enjoy food or a glass of wine while our little one played with his new friends. The play areas and warm outdoor pool also helped to ensure there were plenty of places to burn off energy whatever the weather. Philip and Louise were welcoming and attentive hosts who obviously spend a lot of time ensuring the site is well-maintained and guests are as comfortable as possible and it shows. We met lots of people who had visited several times and we can see why. We would definitely recommend and I’m sure we will return!
Fantastic Stay
By Heather C on 30-Jun-2024This resort was perfect, very quiet and peaceful with great facilities. The outdoor and indoor pools were amazing, with the added bonus of a sauna and jacuzzi. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful flowers everywhere. It’s very close to Bude, a 20 minute walk away. On arrival we had some lovely fresh scones and clotted cream! It was handy to have a laundry room too. What a great find, it’s much nicer to stay on a family owned unique resort. I would definitely recommend and we hope to be back soon.
A beautiful Cottage
By Becky on 02-Jul-2024What an amazing place Broomhill Manor is. 10 out of 10. We will be back again. Great facilities and a great location. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Lovely to have a bar area 3 nights a week with cocktails run by the owners Philip and Louise. I loved the hot tub also. Great to have a beautician who has a room on site also. Beautiful cottage and a rising stables. Thank you and will see you again next year.
Wonderful holiday with superb hosts

A holiday we want to repeat
By Ann K on 05-Jul-2024We were on holiday as a 3-generation family and Broomhill Manor has something for all ages – tennis, table tennis, snooker, indoor and outdoor pools plus hot tub – all set in beautiful surroundings. We were all very comfortable in our 3-bedroom well-equipped cottage and Bude’s sandy beaches are only a short walk away. Above all we were very well looked after by our perfect hosts.
