AYR RACECOURSE is very popular for racing enthusiasts and the town of AYR is steeped in history and only a short distance by car or bus also. There is lots of beaches and walks to take in up and down the coast and all within easy access from the apartment for relaxing and chilling out, plenty to do on a short break or longer, or just to enjoy a nice meal and have a drink in one of the many quality restaurants to possibly celebrate a special occasion or anniversary.
If you are a GOLF fanatic there are plenty of courses in this area Prestwick Links is nearby and Royal Troon, Dundonald, Barassie and Wester Gailes are further up the coast, the west coast of Scotland has some of the best courses in the country all with stunning views of the Ayrshire coastline. Further up the coast you can take a ferry to ARRAN from ARDROSSAN or MILLPORT from LARGS for a trip ‘ doon the watter’ as they say for stunning views and a great day out. This area has some of the most beautiful scenery SCOTLAND has to offer on your doorstop to enjoy.
WEATHER in this area being close to the sea is very mild all year with little frosts and snow compared to other parts of Scotland making it a very popular destination for tourists visiting all year round or for a winter break.
