By Sarah on 24-Oct-2025We’ve just returned from a lovely long weekend at the mini castle. We all loved the place! It is comfortable and cozy and has everything you can need. It was a little chilly on arrival but the heating is efficient. The beds were clean and cozy and overall the place is absolutely charming. The immediate area is also superb for Dog people as we are. Beach was so close and wonderful to walk along. The children loved having the play area basically in the front garden.
Unforgettable memories

The coastal walks into Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate provided some of the best views our great country has to offer. Also dined at some amazing restaurants in all three towns. In all we have created some unforgettable memories. Unfortunately the week has gone far too quickly and it's time to bid farewell to a magical part of the UK. Many thanks
Chilling out

A good time
By A child on 04-Apr-2024We had a great time and loved it in the park. We had a good time playing football. I liked seeing the beautiful waves on the beach and the daisies at the park. My room was also quite nice. I liked hearing the seagulls every so often
Heavenly place
By Jim on 24-Apr-2024There is nowhere we would rather be. The most heavenly place – fabulous park, everywhere super dog friendly, everywhere the people are super friendly. We don't need to drive and all our face places are on the doorstep. The Gate House is a magical place and no matter how many times we come it never fails to give us an amazing stay.
