By Kevin Bailey on 28-Jul-2025New Puddledock was a super surprise. It matched its description perfectly. Beautifully appointed and maintained to a high standard. The accommodation did not disappoint. Amanda welcomed us upon arrival and our five days visit passed without a hitch. The farm is extremely well located to visit many places of interest. The tranquility and sense of space were a welcomed break. We will recommend and return. K
Wonderful countryside views & Relaxing!
By Brian & Carolyn Slingsby on 18-Jun-2025We were in need of this 6 night break 18 - 24June and loved the Puddledock Lodge with its quiet countryside location. Were very lucky with the weather, although the Saturday was very hot, the two umbrellas on terrace helped though. Amanda & Graham went the extra mile in helping us and were wonderful hosts, but not intrusive. Thank you and we hope to return sometime in next year.
Would highly recommend!
By Cathy Antink on 26-May-2025This was the most amazing place to stay. Beautiful Lodge & gorgeous surroundings! Amanda is a brilliant host & made us feel incredibly welcome. We would highly recommend a stay here & we will be back! A 5 star property! Thank you Amanda!
Very comfortable lodge with a great view.
By Ineke Oppenoorth on 26-May-2025We had a very nice stay. The location of the lodge is very nice if you like to be in the quietness of the country. The view was nice, lots of sheep we could watch. Amanda was very understanding and helpful when there was a problem with my bank. We made a lot of nice trips to Rye, Wichelsea, nature reserves, the coastpath newr Hastings. And most lovely of all a very little church in a field about 10 minutes walk away. We could collect the key at a nearby farm to have a look inside. Very special. Thank you Amanda and Graham.
A Little Piece of Tranquility
By Angela S on 14-Jul-2023Left on Jun 22, 2021 for a stay in Jun 2021 We have stayed at Puddock Farm on numerous occasions in the past. A little piece of heaven. The lodges are very well appointed and are exceptional value. Everything you need for that relaxing break. From all your cooking utensils to a parasol and cushions to enjoy the wonderful view on the deck. Just sit back, enjoy the most amazing sunset or pour yourself a glass or two and watch the sheep come right up to a secure fence. Amanda and Graham are the perfect host. There if you need anything, but at the same time you don’t hear from them unless you want to. Having just spent this weekend in their fantastic brand new ‘PUDDLEDOCK’ lodge it is probably one of the most relaxing breaks we have ever had. The main bedroom hosts a dressing area and an en-suite shower room. Two further twin bedrooms and a main family bathroom. Two extremely comfy 3 seater sofas allowed for both myself and my husband plenty of room to stretch out. Complete with a washing machine, dishwasher and a full size fridge freezer enabled us to take pack lunches and freeze our ice blocks for the journey. The kitchen is fully equipped allowing for any meal to be prepared (should you wish to) and even champagne wine and beer glasses. I’ve never seen self catering accommodation so well equipped. For those of you who recycle, large bins are placed just outside the lodges all labelled up and are kept extremely clean. If shopping is your thing, Ashford Designer outlet is about 14 miles away as is Hastings. Romney Sands is less than 15 minutes drive as is the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Steam miniature railway. We had such a relaxing time as we always do when visiting Puddock Farm Lodges that we are already about to book again to return with friends. Did I mention, free Wi-fi too Just in case you can’t totally switch off or have little ones that you need to keep them amused.. Book Puddock Farm, you won’t be disappointed.
Very Pleasant Stay
By P. Anderson on 14-Jul-2023Very good stay Left on Jul 13, 2021 for a stay in Jul 2021 Lovely tranquil location yet still only a short distance from main routes making it easy to visit places. Location is within easy reach of a large numbers of places to visit. We especially liked; Bodiam, Rye Harbour nature reserve and Winchelsea. The accommodation is very private and has all the facilities that you might want/need and as a bonus is all on one level. Local walks were very interesting and quiet. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation and as a bonus we had good weather.
