Wonderful place to relax
By Chris on 28-Jun-2025This old watermill is set in plenty of space with a wonderful spacious interior and fantastic large pool area. You can choose from spending time on the large first floor balcony with table and BBQ or relax by the pool. The surrounding towns are classic French with plenty of daytime or evening markets to choose from and this makes an excellent base to travel further afield to Bordeaux.
A really unique and enjoyable stay - will likely return next year
By Andrew on 12-Jul-2025The Watermill really met our expectations. Truly unique and it really does feel special. The host was super attentive, the amenities and cleanliness were spot on. Could only fault one day of rain! Lovely place, peaceful and very enjoyable!
A short but unforgettable stay

The extensive grounds and range of amenities really deserve a longer stay — there’s just so much to choose from. Whether it's enjoying nature by the river, wandering through peaceful woodlands, or simply soaking up the sun in a hammock or by the magnificent pool, there’s something here for everyone. The setting is wonderfully private, offering real peace and seclusion, yet it’s only a short drive from the charming town of Monségur, with its lovely shops, restaurants, and historic market square. This is a place where you could easily lose track of time in the best possible way. I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay.

Extraordinaire

On se sent tout de suite ailleurs dans un endroit hors du temps et qui, à ma connaissance n'a pas d'équivalent. La piscine est magnifique et immense (16 m de long). Un vrai retour à la nature dans un cadre calme et reposant. Mention spéciale pour Rita et sa gentillesse qui nous a accueilli avec un bouquet de fleurs et un panier garni de petites attentions avec même des bouteilles de vin. Nous y sommes allés pour fêter nos 30 ans de mariage avec nos 3 enfants et leurs conjoints. Nous nous en souviendrons très longtemps tellement c'était bien
