Step into the heart of the cottage — a bright and spacious kitchen diner that opens out to an oak porch and patio, where you can enjoy morning coffee with sweeping countryside views. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: a dishwasher, electric double oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a generous fridge-freezer.
We’ve included all the essentials — cookware, crockery, and cutlery — plus family-friendly extras like a highchair, booster cushion, and children’s plates and cups.
Living Room
After a day exploring the local area, unwind by the open fireplace in the inviting living room. Sink into comfy reclining leather sofas and enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV or browse through the family-friendly DVD collection. Kids will love the play mat, toys, and board games — perfect for cozy evenings in.
Cloakroom & Utility Space
By the back door, you’ll find a handy cloakroom — ideal for muddy boots, coats, and wellies. It’s also a great spot for your four-legged friends, with plenty of space for one or two dog beds.

Dog-friendly: Up to two well-behaved dogs are warmly welcome! We simply ask that they stay off furniture and out of the upstairs bedrooms, and are not left alone unless in a crate (we can provide one on request).

By Kayleigh on 05-Jul-2025Stunning property, exceptionally clean. Brilliantly catered for even catering for the fur babies. Lovely space well set back from the road with more than ample parking. Jennifer was phenomenal host, all the little touches really were the cherry on top from welcome gifts to baskets with anything you could’ve forgotten to bring with you she really had thought of everything. We will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend.

Christmas Stay
By Lesley on 01-Dec-2024Just enjoyed a four day stay at Moo Cow Cottage over Christmas. The cottage is very spacious upstairs and down. The bedrooms are big and the beds so comfy. The lounge with its log burner is very cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped, everything has been thought of. Jennifer is an amazing host, ready to help if needed. Communication before our stay was very good. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful

We had a 5 year old, 18 month old and a dog staying and it’s rare to find a property that caters so well for everyone! Moo Cottage was as described and so well equipped - Jennifer had thought of everything! The guide book was really thorough and helped us immensely to plan our weekend. Would highly recommend! Holly
