Lauzun is located 2 km away and offers an excellent boulangerie, bars, restaurants, a cafe, boucherie, small supermarket and a pharmacy. Bergerac is 30 minutes away, Bordeaux is 90 minutes and the popular bastide town of Eymet is 15 minutes away.
You will have an abundance of activities and restaurants within very close reach in this very popular area of the Dordogne/Lot-et-Garonne
Gite details:
There are 3 double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, one of which can be converted to a king size double on request.
Well behaved pets will be considered on request for an extra fee.
The grounds are extensive and you have your own large space of over an acre in which to play games and relax.
Your hosts live in the neighbouring house but you have complete privacy as the grounds to both properties are separated.

By Paula on 05-Sep-2024This is charming property set in a very quiet location with lots of outdoor space. The house has everything you need – plenty of towels, kitchen equipment, washing machine, BBQ etc. There is a good sized pool which has plenty of space for loungers etc. The local village is just 5 mins in the car with bakery, bar and few little shops. There are lots of other pretty village all around the area. The highlight of the accommodation are Tracy and Aidan who went above and beyond to make our stay special. They helped arrange restaurant bookings, a vet and were on hand to offer any assistance without being intrusive. They are great and we must give a shot out to Hugo, the friendliest dog in the world!
Exactly what we hoped for
By Brian Boru on 05-Sep-2024If you are looking for a fully equipped, but rustic, gite, with a good sized swimming pool, in an idyllic rural location, then look no further. While tucked away in the countryside, the nearest boulangerie, grocery shop, restaurant, and bar, are only 5 minutes away. The owners, Aidan and Tracey, live next door but are never intrusive. Always available, though, with helpful advice on outings, markets, restaurants etc. Can thoroughly recommend this location.
Couldn't be more perfect

Plenty of space for all of us, whether we wanted to be together or spend time curled up alone with a book and a glass of wine. The pool was the best we have ever used - we even found pool towels supplied. The French countryside was breathtaking, the locals friendly and our hosts so welcoming. The younger members of the group especially liked the wine & music session we shared on the last night. Hugo & Sid were friendly but polite pets - keeping a respectful distance unless invited to approach for attention. All in all, couldn’t be more perfect. Thank you very much.

By Emmanuelle on 17-Aug-2024Tracy and her husband were very welcoming and available throughout our stay. The house is very functional for several couples / friends / families. The terrace area overlooks a very beautiful terrain with sunflowers as far as the eye can see, we even had the chance to see deer and faons at the time of the aperitif! The pool is visible from the terrace (convenient when you have toddlers for supervision). We had a great time and we thank Tracy and her husband very warmly for hosting us! We'll be happy to go back!
