Description
A charming Logis de chasse (hunting lodge) dating from 1666, on the edge of the village of Saint Germain de Montbron, nestling in the beautiful Charente countryside.We have two very spacious bedrooms, a large salon, kitchen and bathroom. All is fully modernised.
Access to the garden for outdoor dining, barbecue, all in a very pretty garden. Use of the owners above ground pool and 2 acres of garden.
The space
The house has just been fully modernised with all the mod cons for confortable living.
There is air-conditioning in the salon and each of the two bedrooms and the property is fully heated.
The enormous master bedroom has a king size (150) bed. Garden views.The second bedroom has the options of two single beds (ideal for children) or a large double (180). Also with a garden view.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge etc.
The very spacious sitting room/dining room a 55 inch TV and has has double aspect views of the courtyard and garden with beautiful views across the valley.
Aside from your private parking place, we can offer garaging for your classic car. Especially useful for the circuit des remparts week-end. All of which takes place 20 minutes from us in Angouleme.
Possibility to accommodate up to 6 people in total by renting the Pigeonnier (sleeps 2 in double bed).
