Leave ReviewResponsive friendly quality stay and service
By Dottle Goble on 11-Dec-2024Always had a helpful friendly service, giving speedy replies to any queries pre arrival, responding to one or two minor issues during and after our stay. Website easy to navigate and again queries regarding interest to properties responded to quickly. Also prompt repayment of the deposit. Overall a great holiday service and stay. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic weeks holiday in Salisbury
By Mr Latch on 13-Nov-2024There were 15 of us plus a dog aged from 9 to 80 and we had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable and warm and the gardens were great to walk around and for the younger ones to play in. We could easily cook meals with the equipment provided and all sit around the table together. Our only complaint was that there was so much storage room in the kitchen that it took days to remember where everything was. Very easy walking distance to centre of Salisbury which we did most days.
Osmund House was great for everyone!
By Elizabeth on 29-Aug-2024Our family group included 6 adults, one teenager, two children, one toddler, two pet dogs and a Guide Dog in training. Often we pondered who was enjoying our stay more: the dogs, the kids, or the adults! We decided that we all enjoyed it immensely. The house was spacious and comfortable; the rooms were lovely and well appointed; the garden was fantastic - with amenities for all including the large outdoor dining table, the covered barbeque area, the hot tub, the children's playground area, and quiet areas. The location cannot possibly be beat! Just a 5 minute walk from the cathedral and museum (don't miss the museum - it's great and offers a discount for English Heritage members). The Town Market on Saturday and Tuesday was excellent. The EV charger was a lovely convenience. It was a short drive to so many wonderful places to visit. We ran out of time before we ran out of ways to enjoy staying at Osmund House. We hope to stay there again next year.
A lovely house with everything we needed
By Paul Hawkings on 14-Mar-2024A lovely house with everything we needed. Would love to stay again in the future. The garden & children’s play area was fully enjoyed by our Grandchildren as was the lovely hot tub by the adults.
Osmund House Salisbury, Christmas 2023
By Gillian Chapman on 04-Jan-2024A beautiful house with luxury accommodation for a large party. Ample space with plenty of parking, garden & play equipment for the children and a hot tub for all. Walking distance of Salisbury town centre, the cathedral and all amenities. Was able to email the company with any queries and received prompt replies. Would happily use other properties in this group if an occasion arose in the future. This refers to Short Stay Homes who own other properties as well as Osmund House.
Great property in a superb location
By Linda Kjelgaard on 31-Oct-2023This is an ideal property for a large family gathering. 10 of us (plus a dog!) stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my husband''s birthday. The house itself is spacious and really well-equipped, the garden nicely laid out and the location is brilliant. We all went off into Salisbury at different times to shop, walk and visit the cathedral and other lovely buildings. Communication about the property was also excellent. Would highly recommend
