The house is elegant, with spacious accommodation retaining the character of an original Charente farmhouse, it is completely private and not overlooked situated at the edge of the village.
All the four bedrooms are ensuite and overlook the gardens and grounds. The first floor contains three bedrooms, with views overlooking the garden and courtyard walled entrance.
The largest room is very spacious with a luxurious sized emperor bed and comfortable sitting areas with an enclosed bathroom containing a free standing large bath, shower and bidet. The second bedroom is comfortably spacious with a king size bed ensuite shower bathroom. Both of these first floor rooms have dual aspect windows.
The third room is smaller with a double bed, ensuite bathroom and and overlooks the church, pool and garden.
The attic bedroom is very spacious with a kingsized bed, comfortable sitting area plus a work desk and ensuite bathroom. Fibre Wi-fi is connected throughout the house.
Door entrance to a large kitchen containing a large table with chairs, range oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher microwave, toaster, coffee maker, well stocked with dishes and glasses.
The kitchen leads into the dining room area with spacious dining table and chairs.Side door leading to garden and pool area. Another door leading to a toilet and washing machine area.
Ground floor has two large sitting rooms, both of which have dual aspect windows. The Dining room leads to a comfortably furnished, first sitting room , leading to the hallway. Off of this comprises the second sitting room. An added bonus if you want to escape from the kids.
The swimming pool is fitted with an alarm which when activated emits a loud klaxon call. The pool can be heated, ( please ask for further details around this) Luxurious sun loungers surround pool area, as well as a table for al fresco dining. There is also a comfortable sofa sitting areas close to the pool as well as a BBQ.
The property is close to the charming village of Verteuil sur Charente with its beautiful historic Château and fine restaurants. Many lovely villages to explore and it is not too far from the N 10 if further exploration of this wonderful region is on your list of priorities. otherwise sit back and relax by the pool. Or you can go kayaking along the Charente river all easily accessible,
