Description
There is only one Gite at Les Bois Tranquilles, we are not a complex. Easy booking and payment on-line with simple Terms & Conditions.
The 100 sq. metre accommodation is on two levels and includes the two buildings, its own access, garden and a car park for several vehicles. The entire space is exclusive to the Gite and is private, sleeping up to 7 people.
Relax in the 80 sq. metre Games Room located under the Gite, a large space which can store bikes and leisure equipment also, again exclusive to the Gite and private.

Stroll in the gardens, meadow and forests at Les Bois Tranquilles. Enjoy swimming in the nearby river Dordogne, cleanest river in Europe.
Enjoy the experience of staying in the 1850's farmhouse, modernised for comfort but with original features intact. Only 5 minutes from Cenac with supermarket, bakery and shops. Experience the tranquility and de-stress.
The owners (discrete) live at the back of property with their own access. The owners, Brian and Sandra value your privacy but are available to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The gite has 2 double bedrooms and 1 triple bedroom. All mattresses and bedding are of hotel quality (with white cotton bed linen). The beds are all fixed with no cots or pull out couches. Bed sizes are 3 x 140 cm and 1 x 90 cm.
There is a water purifying and softening system on site, so there is no need to buy or bring bottled water.
All bed linen and towels are included in the stay. Fresh towels are available on request. There are also garden/river towels provided.

The game room is a real plus, the cottage is very well furnished and sublime, quiet in the Perigordian countryside, very well located close to main sites and monuments to visit. Brian and sandra are very attentive, we keep a great memory of this quiet wood stay. We will definitely go back to this little corner of words. By Erik on 25-Oct-2023Our stay at Brian and Sandra''s Gite was beyond fantastic! The silence and tranquility that you experience at the Gite is wonderful. There you really hear the sound of silence. The nature around the Gite is also beautiful. We even saw a deer and squirrel from our terrace. In addition,the house is fully equipped, very clean, comfortable and cozy. In the Gite you can stay with your family, 2 couples or just the two of you. The different terraces where you can sit give you a different feeling and view every time. It is only a 4 minute drive to Cénac, supermarket, wonderful bakery and the Dordogne. The small river Le Ceou is also close by. As well as forest to walk in . And Sarlat is close by too. In short, we had a wonderful time! If you are stressed you will certainly come away relaxed. Thank you Brian and Sandra. We will come back for sure:)

The house was perfect for our family and the children particularly enjoyed the games room. The region has plenty to offer in terms of activities (canoeing, cycling, etc.) and places to visit.
