Description
Large beautifully presented family home situated in the lovely French village of Sarrazac in the Dordogne, surrounded by rolling hills but central for many visitor attractions. Our house offers home from home accomdadation with all mod cons, a cosy lounge with comfy sofas, books and games, a smart t.v and wifi. The kitchen has everything you need, from pots and pans, air fryer, microwave, gas hob, electric oven and all crockery and cutlery required. Three good size berooms all with bed linen provided and plenty of storage, two shower rooms with towels etc. and a ground floor w.c off the laundry room where you will find the washing machine, ironing board etc. You will find there is a lot of space indoors and out, with a large garden to the rear and a lovely terrace off the kitchen/breakfast area to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and open views over the large rear garden, where the children and adults can play games, have a BBQ or just relax. Ample off road parking to the front.In the village there is a bread machine which is refilled every day, except Sunday, with fresh baguettes, croissants etc, a church and post office. There is a bar/ restaurant, Chez Marie, which is open during the summer months of July and August.
The house is stuated within easy access to numerous attractions, to name just a few, one being the stunning Jumilhac-le-Grand chateaux which is only 10km, when you have finished your tour of the Chateaux you can walk along the river and take a picnic or chill in the bar/restaurants in the village, Hautefort Chateaux is a definate visit, a stunning chateaux and gardens, Rouffiac lake is 17.5km with its vast lake offering water sports, beach area, picnic areas and bar/cafe with live music in the evenings throught the summer, closer to home there is Nantheuil, 12km, having a large lake with a beach area and live music every Saturday throught the summer months. Thiviers town is 11km which has a lovely market on Saturdays, and Excedeuil 15km, has a Thursday market, both have ample bar/cafes to relax in and all ameneties for your daily needs. A little further is the beautiful town of Brantome, surrounded by the river where you can take a boat, stroll in the 100 year old gardens, or visit the Benedictine abbey plus so much more, it is lovely here.
