Superb

By Sarah Spencer on 20-Jul-2019

So this is my fifth year in a row staying at this bungalow. It’s ideally placed with beautiful sea views from the kitchen and front garden but out of the hustle and bustle of Saundersfoot in the summer holidays.
The garden is south facing and very secluded. It’s perfect sized and it took me a while to realise why it felt larger this year, the hedge had been cut back!
Already booked to go again in October. It really does feel like a home from home

Home from Home

By Angela Hughes on 15-Jun-2019

Have just returned from a very relaxing break in Saundersfoot with another couple.
The bungalow was perfectly located for our needs with easy access to all the amenities of Saundersfoot.
It really was like coming home at the end of each day, the bungalow which had excellent facilities included a large family bathroom together with the main bedroom having an en-suite shower ,tastefully appointed lounge/dining room and a delightful conservatory off the kitchen providing access to the enclosed rear garden and BBQ.
A lot of thought has gone in to providing a beautiful holiday home where your every need has been catered for, to make for an enjoyable relaxing stay.
For us it really was home from home.

Great location

By Darren Harrison on 01-Jun-2019

The bungalow is well presented and equipped. It has everything you need for your stay. Our 2 young children loved running around the garden and the view from the breakfast room is a lovely way to start the day. The property is well located for accessing Saundersfoot and the beaches. Would definitely recommend.

This bungalow is extremely very well presented with gorgeous furniture and fittings. It has everything you could need. You can sit in the garden, on the side, back and front of the bungalow, wherever the sun is. The view from the kitchen window is of Saundersfoot beach. You have access to free parking on Saundersfoot Quay. This is the 3rd time we have been to this holiday home and will definitely be going back.

This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed here, we had such a good holiday last time we had to come back. As before the bungalow was spotless and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable break in a wonderful part of Wales. We were particularly impressed with the kitchen and garden equipment - lovely comfortable chairs to take in the great views from the garden - in the morning watching the sunrise over the Bay is a real joy. Saundersfoot is a lovely town to wander around and take in the atmosphere whilst enjoying a coffee on the harbour side, the Harbour Bar & Restaurant was good and has improved out of all recognition We really liked Pendine Beach and would recommend a visit to the Dyfed Shire Horse Centre knowing after a busy day you can come back to the bungalow and relax for the evening.

This superbly presented property was ideal for our family of four. This was a return visit for us with two young children and again it didn't disappoint. The house is ideally situated a short walk from the town centre, beach and St Brides Hotel for relaxing and spa facilities. We really enjoy Folly Farm and nearby Tenby and Narberth. Everything we needed was provided including high chair, children's plates, bowls and cutlery and travel cot. The beds were very comfy and lounge area nice and roomy- living is easy here. We will definitely return again soon!

We have returned to this property for a third time, which was as always beautifully presented and clean. The owners have paid good attention to details throughout the bungalow, and it is very well equipped and decorated. We love the layout, especially the garden with its stylish playhouse full of beach toys/buckets/sun loungers/parasols. The bungalow is in a good position above the harbour, yet within easy walk to the beach. We spent lots of time on Glen Beach (our favourite) and walked to Wisemans Bridge a couple of times through the tunnels. We tried the new Beachside café/restaurant which was delicious, and of course had to have a visit to Fecci's Ice cream Parlour in Tenby! We also went to Caldey Island, which was beautiful and had a wonderful calming atmosphere, and we enjoyed the boat trip across from Tenby Harbour. Sure we'll be back very soon, as Saundersfoot is one of our favourite places and this bungalow now feels home-from-home! The Martins, Sheffield

ideal property with everything we needed. Comfortable bed, comfortable sofa, full Sky TV. Just like home but with a sea view from the kitchen sink! Good location just 3/4 of a mile walk downhill to the village. Super restaurant (Mulberry) which we used twice plus there's a mini Tesco and a Spar. Best of all are the coastal paths, an easy 4 miles to Amroth and NT's Colby Woodland Gardens. 4.5 miles a bit more strenuous walk takes you to the lovely Tenby. Best of the best was a truly stunning walk from Stackpole Quay along the coast to Bosherton Lily Ponds and Stackpole Court Walled Garden. A great holiday, would certainly recommend, and would be happy to return.

Very comfortable house, very nicely set up with good size garden area - plenty of room for the dog to run around and lots of afternoon sunshine on what was a fabulous weekend of weather! Front garden with comfortable bench (see photo) for a first cup of tea in the morning sunshine with great views over to hills and looking down to Saundersfoot beach within easy (if hilly!) walk.. Fantastic area with great beach and restaurants and loads of amazing walks in the Pembrokeshire countryside. Could not be bettered. thank you so much we'll be back!

The bungalow is very deceptive from the front, it is larger than we expected! There were 6 of us in total 4 adults & 2 children, plenty of space for all of us & our belongings. Also there is a ramp at the side of the bungalow for anyone that has mobility issues & cannot manage the steps, which we used every day. There were plenty of lovely fresh towels, and beds immaculately made up on our arrival which were much appreciated after a rather long journey! The whole bungalow is clean & tastefully decorated, & we loved the little seaside touches all around the place. We also managed to have a couple of BBQ's on the very spacious decking area. Would also like to thank the owners for providing fabulous advice on attractions locally to visit, & even tips on our route to get to the bungalow the night before we travelled. We would definitely recommend this accommodation, & we are looking at booking again for some time next year!

We had a truly lovely stay here at the end of July (despite the awful weather!). The bungalow is perfectly situated with a beautiful view of Saundersfoot. A lovely quiet cul de sac, a perfect location for exploring the local area. It is furnished to a high standard and is fully equipped for 6 people. Lots of lovely clean bed linen and towels are provided which was great. Comfy beds, lounge and breakfast room were perfect for our stay. The wifi was excellent and Sky tv was provided too. The garden and summer house were lovely and very picturesque, just a shame the weather prevented us from utilising them! We have been to Saundersfoot for a few holidays now and really love the beach, harbour and little town. A fantastic touch was the provision of the 'Parking Permit'. Thank you for providing us with a perfect holiday base, I'm sure we will be back

We had a great time exploring Pembrokeshire with your lovely bungalow as our base. It was ideal for us, very comfortable with everything we could wish for. Loved all the art work and seaside knick-knacks. The parking permit was most welcome, particularly when we walked along the coast to Wiseman's Bridge and beyond. We visited many castles, walked parts of the coastline and beaches, enjoyed a variety of gardens and explored places we have not seen for a long time. Particularly enjoyed Caldey Island and can recommend The Stackpole Inn - lovely Sunday lunch - and Carew Inn just opposite the castle. The farm shop was excellent. We even had a little time to sit out in the sun traps around the bungalow.

My wife and I stayed here with my brother and our sister-in-law and our mum who is in her 80s. The property is lovely with a large lounge which has 2 large sofas and a very nice individual chair. The large patio door opens into a quiet cul de sac with a view over the bay and down to Saundersfoot. On the first afternoon we walked down to town with mum and had a brief wander around the lovely little village. Then came back up the hill slightly slower than we went down but someone has kindly provided a bench halfway back. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable and the master bedroom is a treat. There is a breakfast room which is very pleasant in the morning and where else can you have sea views with your morning coffee and toast? The kitchen, main bathroom and garden are all of a good size and well presented. It would be lovely to live here.

My family have just returned from a weeks stay in Saundersfoot. We loved this spacious bungalow. The settees and beds were comfortable and the whole place was well appointed. It was even a pleasure to wash up with the superb sea view and countryside to look at! We appreciated the extras such as WIFI, Sky TV and a local parking permit. The garden and decking area were enclosed and safe for our grandchildren. The beach at saundersfoot is ideal for families and the shops cater for most things. I would visit again.

We had a delightful week's stay with grandparents and our seven and four year old boys this July at David and Elizabeth's lovely home. The property enjoys a fantastic position with panoramic views of the coast and gives very easy access to Saundersfoot village. The garden was safe for the kids to play and perfect for relaxing evening drinks and eating alfresco. The bungalow was immaculate throughout, had everything we needed and catered comfortably for the six of us (the bunk beds were a massive hit!). With the perfect base, great scenery, fantastic beaches and brilliant places to eat locally we will definitely be booking again.

We have just come back from a week's holiday spent at this beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean bungalow where every need is catered for to make you feel at home. We came with another couple but the bungalow would equally suit families with young children due to the enclosed rear garden, which also has a delightful summerhouse that can be enjoyed by everyone. Leading out from the conservatory is a decking area with a b.b.q, table and chairs where on sunny days we would have breakfast (or should I say brunch), before going out for the day. The bungalow is close to all the amenities with the beach, shops and restaurants only minutes away We found it to be the perfect location for our needs and spent a totally relaxing holiday there .

Bungalow was very well equipped with quality throughout. Comfortable beds, the comfy sofas were well used after busy days sightseeing in this beautiful area. The property is well situated for local dining and reaching the many tourist attractions. We accessed most of Pembrokeshire easily within the hour. Particularly liked Presceli hills, Dyfed Shire horse centre and would recommend a visit to the national wool museum and of course St David's. Good local produce available at reasonable prices. Eating in or out was a pleasure. Spectacular sunrise and sunset, sunset can be enjoyed on from the alfresco eating and seating area with a handy BBQ for outdoor cooking. We had an enjoyable and relaxing week and look forward to returning.

We had a fantastic time staying in your beautiful bungalow. It is very well equipped, thoroughly clean and is decorated to a high standard with a stylish seaside feel. The bungalow is in a great location, easy to find and within 5 mins walk down to the harbour using the short cut on the next road along. Saundersfoot has beautiful beaches upon which we spent our days exploring rock-pools, paddling in the sea (the weather was kind to us!) and playing ball games. We also walked along to Wiseman's bridge and came back through the tunnels on a couple of evenings. Tenby is a must, with it's bustling streets and golden sands. We were excited to discover that you can get onto St Catherine's Island, which I remember being a zoo as a small child before it became unused. It was great to see the inside of the fort and hear about it's history. We also visited Carew Castle, where there we saw falconry displays, archery displays and learnt how to sword fight! All in all, a fabulous week in our favourite part of the world. we hope to be back again very soon!!

We all enjoyed building sandcastles on the beach which was a 1 minute drive away. The property was extremely well appointed and clean. We thoroughly recommend St Brides spa for a relaxing massage and the Mulberry for excellent cuisine. The children's favourite place to eat was the Dragons palace Chinese restaurant.

Situated in the picturesque seaside town of Saundersfoot, this is a very pleasant place to stay whilst in West Wales. The accommodation is very comfortable with good amenities and plenty of room for families. There is everything you need to self cater in the kitchen, with a dining area big enough for the family. There is also both a main bathroom and ensuite shower room. The bungalow is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with good parking and views out past Saundersfoot harbour and down the coast towards Pendine. If you're feeling energetic (and the weather's fine) it's a short walk from the bungalow down to the the harbour, beach, shops and restaurants at Saundersfoot. Once you've worked up an appetite, don't forget to stop at the St Brides Hotel for spectacular views across the bay and a cream tea afterwards! On lazy days there is plenty to do inside with a large number of entertainment options on the TV and comfy sofas to curl up with a book. The bungalow is easily located from the main routes into Saundersfoot which makes it a great base to strike out for other popular destinations around this part of Pembrokeshire. We hope to be able to return for another stay in the future.Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.

Back again for the second time this year. You can’t tire of the view from the kitchen, watching the sun come up over the beach makes doing the dishes a pleasant experience. The first time I have been in the summer and it was lovely to sunbathe in the completely secluded garden listening to the birds. The best of both worlds, peaceful but only a short walk down the hill into saundersfoot itself. A little pit stop in St Brides on the way back up makes the hill bearable. I will definitely be going back again

Such a great location, we loved being able to walk down to the seafront - albeit a bit of a steep climb coming back, but well worth it. Very spacious inside with plenty of drawers and wardrobe space. We always looked forward to returning back to our 'cosy holiday home' to relax after a long day site seeing around Pembrokeshire. Would definitely recommend a stay here, we hope to return next time we are visiting Wales.

What a perfect place to base yourself for a break in Saundersfoot. A home away from home with beautiful sea views, which made washing up a pleasure (there is a dishwasher but who minds doing the dishes when the view is so divine). The garden is a perfect sun trap, not overlooked and very safe for children. St Brides is a short stroll away and the village of saundersfoot at the bottom of the hill. This is my third visit to the property and I will definitely be going back soon. I have been during both the winter and the summer and it has been perfect every time

We will definitely be returning and would recommend the property to family and friends.

We stayed at this property for a week and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. It was very modern and clean but also felt homely. Everything we needed was there and as a party of 5 there was plenty of space for everyone. As the property was located near the bottom of a cul de sac it was a very quiet location and there was plenty of space to sit outside. Being located above Saundersfoot we had a lovely view of the beach from the front of the property and could walk down into Saundersfoot although it is a bit of steep hill coming back up however we used a local taxi firm on one occasion which only cost a couple of pounds. Several great places to eat out in Saundersfoot and two small supermarkets for any bits and pieces you might need. The car park season pass provided by the owners of the bungalow was very handy. Tenby was only a 5 min drive away. There was also other great places to visit near by. Great communication with the owners of the property who could not do enough to make sure we had a geat stay. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Saundersfoot area. N Culshaw
