Secure patio garden with raised seating area and table for 8, bench and small further table, 2 chairs and barbeque. House overlooks a small green. Guest parking permits for visitors who can park outside on a first come first served basis.

Railway station is only a 5-10 minute walk away. House is close to several pubs, shops and restaurants and a short walk to the town centre, foreshore, Rotunda Museum and Stephen Joseph Theatre. Popular fishing village of Whitby is a 30 minute drive and the historic town of York an hour away. Beautiful North Yorks Moors National Park with great walks and scenery is on the edge of Scarborough itself. Crown Spa Hotel is 3 minutes' away and offers full spa facilities, massage etc - perfect for a ladies' pampering session. The house is not suitable for hen or stag groups.

Small enclosed patio garden with steps leading to back gate and back access road. Secure area for your dog or child (but be aware of steepish steps). Attractively landscaped in a Mediterranean style with a large bench seat, concealed lighting and fountain. Raised area with hardwood table and 8 chairs. Small metal bistro table and 2 chairs outside the back door for your morning coffee! Charcoal barbeque available.

Minimum stay of 7 nights required in school holidays only. Outside of school holidays 3 night minimum bookings accepted which will be approximately 75% of the cost of a 7 night stay. Changeover day is generally Friday unless otherwise agreed. Dogs allowed (maximum 2) for an extra charge of £20 per animal per stay. Deposit of £200 required on booking with balance payable within 2 calendar months of the start of your holiday. Security deposit of £100 required on payment of the final balance due which will be refunded (all being well on satisfactory inspection of the property) within 2 weeks of the end of your stay.

King's House is a beautiful old property. Very spacious, with plenty of room for a large family group.

The kitchen is very well equipped with all the mod-cons you would need, plus lots of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. More than you would ever need! The house is well presented and comfortable. Bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. very clean. Plenty of towels and hairdryers.

A few minutes drive from the centre of Scarborough - or you could walk, if you had the energy! Near the station - where there is an hourly train to York.

I would recommend this property to anyone looking for holiday accommodation in Scarborough. And I would certainly go again!

The owner does everything to make your stay hassle-free, including free parking zone tickets. Very friendly, efficient, and approachable.

We had a wonderful time at King's House! If you're looking for a clean, comfortable house which can accommodate a large group of people, this is it!

Wonderful house for a large family group

Our large family group enjoyed a stay at Kings House and the house exceeded all of our expectations and was well suited to our need for space and being able to spend time relaxing, eating together and enjoying Scarborough. The house was clean, comfortable, well furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved being able to all sit in the kitchen together around the massive island and enjoy an informal breakfast and then have plenty of space in the dining room for our evening meal.
The house is a short walk from the beautiful sands in the South Bay which is where we spent much of our time as we were blessed with great weather. We even managed to swim in the sea! All in all, a great base for a holiday and we would highly recommend the house.
