Description
Carisbrooke is a detached bungalow, situated in a quiet location in the sea-side town of Seaton and only 100yds from the beach. It achieved a four-star rating by the Visit England assessment service and is furnished to a high standard.The hall entrance has an oak flooring. The kitchen is well supplied with cupboards, cooking utensils, pans, a Range cooker and the usual kitchen appliances. Opposite the kitchen is the lounge/diner. Both bedrooms have double wardrobes, deep chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and electric power points. Extra blankets and a hair-dryer are supplied. The bathroom has an electric shower, shaving point, storage cupboard, heated radiator and airing cupboard
There is a 3 meter (10ft) wide driveway with more than enough room for off-road parking of two cars. One of which is sheltered under a car port. The back of the property has a small private courtyard with provision to accommodate a collapsible rotating washing line which we provide.

For in-season bookings (i.e. greater than £400/week), we charge for a minimum of 7 nights with a Saturday changeover.
However, we will consider other changeover dates in certain circumstances but you will need to contact us to discuss.
For out-of-season bookings (i.e. £400/week) we charge £240 for a minimum of 4 nights with flexible changeover days.
We then charge £60 for each extra night.

By Margaret, Neil, Sean Penton on 11-Oct-2025Clean, comfortable & well equipped, what more could you want. Even the weather was kind. Cottage very handy for beach and the shops. Bed is a bit firm but i'm getting old so enjoy a softer mattress. Very friendly and helpful owners. Will hopefully return for another stay. THANK YOU.

The bungalow is excellent
By Andy & Carole on 17-Sep-2025Our 2nd stay at Carisbrooke - We only found it by chance last year but had such a great stay. Knew we had to come back. The bungalow is excellent, just about every thing has been thought of - Comfy & clean and so convenient for beach and town. Sadly we were unable to stay the full week this time but enjoyed our 5 days so much - Just the break we needed. Huge thanks to Zoe & Allistair, hope to return soon!!

Our sincere thanks to Allistair & Zoe - you're the perfect hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. Everything was absolutely perfect - you've really thought of everything. The bungalow is so comfortable & well equipped and the location is wonderful, so close to the beach and all local amenities. Apart from a rise and recline chair, there's nothing you could do to improve anything. Perfection can't be improved! A million thanks.
Lovely Bungalow
By Grieve Family on 16-Aug-2025Lovely bungalow. Very spacious and well equipped with great off road parking. Zoe and Allistair are welcoming & friendly. Great to have the beach right on the doorstep, enjoying lovely walks to Beer, especially along the beach if the tide is out. Ideal location with an excellent bus service. Loads of cafes, restaurants, pubs and local shops. Going home feeling very relaxed. Hope to return again.
Lovely bungalow

As the weather was really good, we were able to spend maximum time outside :-) As regular visitors to the area, we had a really nice, generous Sunday roast @ Kings Garden Centre, Stowford (Sidmouth).
