Situated in a pretty hamlet close to Eymet, this is a place to chill by the pool while appreciating the delightful countryside views. Set in the heart of Montguyard, which has a Roman chapel and historical links to the Templar Knights, and 3k from the Bastide town Eymet, our house is recently built to the latest specifications including a fresh air/extraction system, a well equipped kitchen and comfy furniture - all geared to relaxation and well being.

Walk, cycle, fish, horse ride, play tennis and golf locally are a few of the activities you could consider , should you manage to drag yourself away from the pool. Electric and pedal bikes can be hired in Eymet. Numerous fascinating chateaux to visit and Accrobranche 47 where you can zip wire through the trees is highly recommended! There is a good selection of restaurants and bars in Eymet and bustling day and night weekly markets. Bergerac is but a twenty minute car ride away and has good shopping and a wider choice of restaurants. The old town is very pretty and river cruises take place in the summer. .

A spacious hallway leads to two large reception rooms and a small cloakroom. One sitting room includes comfortable seating, a wood burning stove, satellite TV programmed to English channels and a private wooden deck reached via sliding patio doors. The second sitting room is a large, open planned family room/kitchen and adjoining sun room, which opens out to the wooden decked terraces and private swimming pool. The views are lovely. A utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board, large fridge/freezer and microwave is off the kitchen. The well equipped kitchen includes: an induction hob and electric fan oven, dishwasher, double Belfast sink, Nespresso coffee machine, kitchen table and chairs and a lovely shabby chic store cupboard. The sun room has a dining table and chairs, shabby chic dresser and large patio doors leading to the spacious decking and 8x4 swimming pool. Pool furniture includes sun loungers, parasols, BBQ and table and chairs. UPSTAIRS Master bedroom with king size bed, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom en-suite. Double aspect windows to the front. Double bedroom with bathroom en-suite. Two bedrooms, one King and one Twin, share the family shower room. WiFi is freely available throughout the house.

A welcome pack is provided and the store cupboard is stocked with basic provisions such as flour, sugar, herbs, seasonings, etc. Bookshelves are stocked with books and various games for all ages.

Rental commences at 4pm on the day of arrival and terminates at 10 am on the day of departure. This is important as time is required for change-over before the arrival of the next guests.

Bergerac airport is a 20 minutes away with car hire available. Bordeaux airport is 1hr 40mins away.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the cost is payable on booking if the booking is more than 8weeks before the start of the rental. Bookings are provisional until a deposit is received and are held for 48 hours. The balance shall be payable 8weeks before commencement of the rental. Non-payment of the balance of the rent on or after the due date may be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the client.
