Description
11 The Green is a grade 2 listed property that has recently been refurbished whilst retaining its historic charm. Sleeping 6 people comfortably it offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy its unique location in the heart of the village. Close to all amenities and with the beach just a 5 minute stroll away it is ideally situated for family holidays, with short breaks offered at various times of the year. Pets and children welcomeFacilities include
3 bedrooms – 2 king size at the front of the property overlooking The Green and 1 twin at the back
2 bathrooms – 1 with bath and shower, 1 with shower unit (downstairs)
Kitchen/diner – fridge freezer, cooker, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster. Large extendable dining table that seats up to 8 people when extended. TV and small comfortable seating area
Utility – washing machine, ironing board, iron
Lounge – split in to 2 seating areas at the front of the property overlooking The Green. TV, DVD player, Sonos smart speaker for music, games, books.
Outside rear space – table and chairs, retractable washing line
Central heating controlled via Hive
Travel cot, stairgate and booster seats available for very young children
Parking is on street around The Green and within Shaldon itself and cannot always be guaranteed. A parking permit for one car is included in bookings and will require the number plate of the vehicle to be shared as part of the arrival confirmation. The permit is for use in either of the 2 pay and display car parks within Shaldon and are subject to the parking restrictions of each car park (one is short stay the other long stay). The 2 pay and display car parks are within a 5-10 minute walk of the property.
Access is via a key safe process so arrival can be at any time after 4.30pm with departure before or at 10.00am. Full details will be sent to you via e mail 7 days prior to your arrival. Should you need them earlier than this then please ask.

The little touches
By Tudor on 07-Jul-2024My stay at this cottage was absolutely wonderful! The property is equipped to an exceptionally high standard and was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The host's attention to detail truly made a difference. Parking in Shaldon can be challenging, but Sara went above and beyond by providing a permit for the two local car parks, making everything much easier. The little touches were what really set this place apart. I was delighted to find complimentary milk, eggs, and a voucher for a local restaurant waiting for me. The location is perfect, with stunning views and easy access to the charming village of Shaldon. My experience was fantastic, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch stay in Shaldon!

Beautiful House

Great recommendations to eat. Beautiful village. We really couldn’t have asked for more. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely house in South Devon! Thanks ️️️
Special place
By Emily on 29-Jul-2023it’s difficult to describe how special no. 11 the Green really is! From the wonderful host, to the fantastic location and the cleanliness of the property. The cottage is always spotless and cleaned to the highest standard. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are decorated with a neutral calming tones. The kitchen is a great communal space for the family with a utility space and WC / shower room. The living spaces look out over the green and have a lovely small patio to the front to sit out with a glass of wine (or two). Right in the heart of shaldon this property couldn’t be more perfect. The London inn just across the green is a fantastic PH with great food and the beach just a very short walk away! We have stopped here atleast once a year and hope to continue to do so in the future. Thank you to the hosts for a number of fantastic stays and their continued attention to detail giving us a lot of precious memories. If you’re looking to stay in Shaldon this is one of the best properties around.
Beautiful cottage
By Lesley on 15-May-2024Beautiful cottage that has everything you need, really comfortable and clean. Easy access on arrival. Great communication from the owners. The cottage is set in a lovely friendly village with amenities all within walking distance. The beach is really close by. We have stayed in this cottage lots of times and we will most certainly return.
