Spinners View occupies the upper floors of a beautifully restored Victorian townhouse dating back to 1850. Once part of a larger terrace that was later divided into separate homes, the property has evolved many times over the years. During our recent renovation, we uncovered and reinstated original features throughout, created a vaulted ceiling on the top floor, and exposed the building’s historic beams. The result is a charming and spacious retreat that blends modern comfort with authentic character.
Inside, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and a stylish lounge/dining room with sash windows and bespoke joinery. The apartment offers two elegant king-sized bedrooms (one with an en suite) and a luxurious main bathroom featuring a generous walk-in shower and freestanding bath.
Thoughtful décor, quality furnishings and carefully designed lighting add warmth and personality to every room — we hope the atmosphere feels as special to you as it does to us.
Outside, a secluded private courtyard garden, secure bike storage and parking for two cars offer rare convenience in the heart of Skipton.
With its blend of history, style and comfort, Spinners View is the perfect sanctuary for exploring Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales.

Leave ReviewNew Years Break
By Julie W on 04-Jan-2026We had a fantastic week in this lovely property in the centre of Skipton. Perfect quiet location with its own parking space and very easy access to all the amenities in the town centre. The car never moved as there were plenty of walks from the door. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable, very well equipped and beautifully renovated by the owners, who were extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, superb.
Home from Home!
By Simon H. on 25-Dec-2025We recently stayed in Spinners View in Skipton, and loved it. Beautifully decorated, well equipped and very cosy. We’ve also stayed in Weavers Rest and Mulberry Cottage and can thoroughly recommend all three properties.
Great two bedroom place
By Jim on 08-Dec-2025Great two bedroom place in the middle of Skipton. Easy to walk everywhere. Very quiet location. Good water pressure in showers and very nice tub. Kitchen well equipped and had large refrigerator/freezer. Beds super comfortable. WiFi was perfect.
SPINNERS VIEW
By Scott C. on 07-Dec-2025We stayed in Weavers Rest in February and having had a fantastic stay we couldn’t wait until Spinners View was available so we could have a week and have our daughters visit us for a few days. We were privileged to be the first guests to stay in Spinners View and wow, what a beautiful apartment. Absolutely faultless – the attention to detail and quality of the finishes, fixtures and fittings is second to none. Besides being a beautiful property, the location (with private parking) is brilliant – Skipton is such a lovely town and this property is literally a 2 minute walk to the High Street. In summary – faultless – and Julie & Vince (hosts) are so helpful, clearly they have put their heart and soul into this place. We cannot wait to return…..just wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect for a Winter visit
By Isobel N on 02-Dec-2025The house is perfectly situated for a winter visit to Skipton. We parked the car and didn’t need it again. There are walks, boat rides, pubs, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully renovated – it is warm, comfortable and well equipped. It is definitely amongst the best we’ve stayed in.
