Welcome to Pike House tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in the private gated Lower Mill Estate. The estate is set in 550 acres of a nature reserve - within the Cotswold Water Park, so you’ll be spoiled for choice with the on-site facilities & activities, or from the very local wider activities this part of the Cotswolds has to offerOur cosy 4-bedroom cottage offers the perfect retreat for you and your loved ones to unwind, reconnect with nature & create lasting memories. This hideaway promises an unforgettable experience filled with comfort, tranquility & breathtaking views
The cottage includes a log burner, indoor and outdoor dining, utility room.
On-site you’ll find:
- Clubhouse - with restaurant, bar, small shop, coffee shop serving locally sourced produce, with a village pub a short walk away.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire house & can arrive early to explore ahead of release of the keys to the cottage. Further information will be included in the digital guest guide after booking - which is full of recommendations for private chef, places to visit, pubs, local attractions with activities for all ages!
Although our stays are self-catered, we provide complimentary starter packs of:
- Tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, Nespresso coffee pods, cooking oils, various herbs, vinegars, lemon juice, cling film, tin foil, baking paper, paper towels & tea towels
- For the summer months 2 self lighting BBQ coal packs & in the cooler months a bundle of logs, coal with firelighters
- Cleaning starter pack: dishwasher tablets, scourer, jay cloth, washing up liquid & bin bags
Children are welcome at the cottage & we supply a medium sized travel cot & travel high chair included as part of your stay. If you need to hire more these can be pre-ordered. You'll find retractable stair gates for pets or children at the top & bottom of the stairs. We’ve also stocked plenty indoor entertainment in our activity cupboard in the lounge such as: an XBOX & games, board games, travel ping pong, puzzles, cards, books, DVD’s & CD’s, as well as local maps & walks
Well behaved pets are welcomed to Pike House. Please note that currently the garden isn’t enclosed, so do bring a long line together with your dogs bed, blanket/s & towel/s. There’s a handy outdoor tap to wash muddy paws or boots by the front door. With 550 acres to explore there are long or short walks for you & your dog. We provide two stainless steel water / food bowls as well a a couple of surprises for your four legged family member/s
We include a suggested ‘what to bring’ within the e-guide - that can also be shared with the rest of your party, to help plan & prepare for your stay

Bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed and the log burner in the evening made it super cosy. The spa and facilities were fantastic and we will definitely be going back!
The house is just like the pictures shown here. Very helpful and responsive hosts. Highly recommended!
By Ruth W on 14-Jun-2025Our family of 6 adults and a baby had a wonderful vacation in this lovely home. Beautiful place with a gorgeous swimming pool/ spa, kayaks , bikes and lots of nature walks. Everything was in top condition and well maintained in the house. Cool extras: books, games, netflix, maps, airfryer and dog treats! Baby cot, stairgates and high chair were included and appreciated The house is just like the pictures shown here. Very helpful and responsive hosts. Highly recommended!

It was exactly as described in the listing, with plenty of things to do around the resort and easy access to nearby towns within the Cotswolds. The instructions provided were very clear and the hosts were extremely responsive. They went the extra mile with Christmas decorations and a lovely hamper which was very considerate. The property is well furnished and stocked with all the essentials for a few days’ stay. Overall a very memorable experience and would definitely recommend for a family getaway.

The location is 5 stars - a short walk to the restaurant, shop, play area, outside seating area, soft-play, activity hub, swimming pools and spa.
By Alex on 26-Jul-2025Loved our stay at Pike House! From booking to leaving, the communication from the owner was very quick. The house has absolutely everything you should need. In our party we had 4 adults and 2 very young children, using all 4 bedrooms and en-suites/bathrooms. The house is in a secluded spot at the end of a driveway which makes the time spent at the house quiet and peaceful. It also has 2 parking bays right outside the front door with the added bonus of an electric vehicle charger (with charging cable included). The location is 5 stars - a short walk to the restaurant, shop, play area, outside seating area, soft-play, activity hub, swimming pools and spa. We even had the local ducks coming to see us every morning at the front door! The house was clean and tidy on arrival and instructions were easily available if required. Loved every minute of our stay and will most certainly return.
