Leave ReviewFrom the minute we walked in, The Old Sweet Shop gave us a warm, welcoming hug
By Jan on 31-Jan-2026“From the minute we walked in, The Old Sweet Shop gave us a warm, welcoming hug. Every room was cosy and full of interest, and we loved the thoughtful touches that helped tell the story of the cottage and its history. Gathering to celebrate a family birthday, it was such a lovely surprise to find a bottle of bubbly waiting for us in the fridge — thank you. The location was perfect for exploring both the coast and countryside. A truly picture-perfect setting, made even more special by the hot tub — the perfect place to warm up and relax on a January evening. With the backdrop of the church, towering chimneys and a full moon, it felt absolutely magical. Thank you.”
Perfect!
By Tracy and Peter on 27-Dec-2025“Perfect! Our first Christmas with our grandson Rory – four generations celebrating together. Everything about the cottage has been thought about with us in mind – we asked for nothing, it was perfect. Thank you to all, especially for working over Christmas.”
