Description

Maison Syrah is situated at Domaine de La Flotte, an estate at the ´Col de La Flotte´ where you have a beautiful view of the Pyrenees. It is an oasis of quiet, wooded hills and meadows.
You can make magnificent walks here and enjoy the unspoilt nature or explore the surroundings hiking (many trails available) or on mountain-bike (can be hired in a village close by).
You can make use of the (shared) swimming pool (round, 6 m) or go to one of the nearby lakes: Lac Montbel or Lac de Puivert, where you can swim, surf, sail or hire a pedalo.
In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants and a market every Saturday.
There is a market every Monday morning in Mirepoix (25 minutes by car) and every Friday morning in Limoux (30 minutes by car).
Carcassonne and many other interesting sites like the Cathar castles are easy to reach.
 
From the ruins of an old farm 5 new houses have arisen, three of them are rented out (either combined for groups and large families or individually).
Each house has its own terrace, so your privacy is guaranteed. The only thing they share is the pool and the lovely view to the Pyrenees.
Maison Syrah is the biggest house, very well suitable for large families or groups of friends, but also for conferences, meetings, workshops, etc.
The house has a spacious living-room with dining place (tables for at least 8-10 people, more tables can be added), sofas, seats and TV. Fitted kitchen with two cooking plates (gas and electricity). Two arched doors lead to the terrace with view to meadows, the forest and of course, the Pyrenees.
On the first as well as on the second floor there are 2 bedrooms each (with twin beds), each with bathroom and shower and/or bathtub.
There is a large terrace in front of the house with several tables and chairs.

Très bon séjour

Une adresse à recommander. La maison est très spacieuse et très bien équipée. L’endroit est au calme en pleine nature, vraiment très agréable. Pas très loin pour faire quelques achats de nécessité et notre hôte est une charmante dame très agréable. Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette adresse.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille au domaine de le Flotte. Le gite est au milieu de la nature, dans un coin magnifique entouré de forets où l''on peut se balader, il y a même des chevaux dans l''enclos juste à coté de la maison... dépaysement garanti ! Le gite est très bien équipé et très bien entretenu. Les logements sont très fonctionnel avec 1 salle de bain par chambre et une grande salle de vie pour se réunir nombreux. Le jardin est grand est très joli, on peut se réunir avec plusieurs tables disponible pour manger à l''extérieur. La piscine, un petit plus a une jolie vue sur les environs. le propriétaire est très agréable et serviable. Je recommande vivement ce magnifique gite de groupes. (déposé le 8 juin 2022)
