Description

Maison Grenache is part of Domaine La Flotte and sits on the east end of the main building.
Domaine de La Flotte is an estate situated on the “Col de La Flotte” where you have a beautiful view of the Pyrenees, it is an oasis of quiet, wooded hills and meadows.
You can make magnificent walks here and enjoy the unspoilt nature or explore the surroundings on a mountain-bike.
You can make use of the (shared) swimming pool (round, 6 m) or go to one of the nearby lakes: Lac Montbel or Lac de Puivert, where you can swim, surf, sail or hire a pedalo.
In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants.
There is a market every Monday morning in Mirepoix (25 minutes driving).
From the ruins of an old farm 3 holiday houses have arisen.
Each house has its own terrace, so your privacy is guaranteed. The only thing they share is the pool and the lovely view to the Pyrenees.

Kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, oven/microwave, fridge with freezer,, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster and table for 6 people.
Living with sofa and chairs, large patio doors lead to the terraces
Washing machine and separate toilet
First floor:
2 bedrooms, both with lits-jumeaux (2 beds 90 x 200 and 2 beds 110 x 200) and bathroom with shower.
In one of the two bedrooms is an extra bed (90 x 200).

Tranquility and Comfort

We are from the US and wanted to escape the madness of Christmas materialism. LaFlotte was the perfect place for us. Surrounded by nature with views of the mountains and only a short distance to friendly local shops with delicious products from farms and vineyards. Nicole is an extraordinary host she made sure we had everything we needed and gave us valuable recommendations . We have vacationed in France for about 15 years and this stay was the most enjoyable. The house, setting, weather, host and local people made our time there splendid. We did not want to depart and are planning our return.
