Description
This charming detached house is set in a small hamlet in the heart of rural Normandy. 3 Km fromthe market town of Sourdeval with its shops, bars and restaurants. Comfortably furnished, it is
ideal for families, with plenty to keep everyone entertained including broadband WIFI, books,
games & satellite TV's. Outside is a terrace and secure lawned garden for relaxing on sunny days
with views over the orchard and fields. Plenty of parking.
The house comfortably sleeps 6 people and is well equipped with everything you need for your
stay. On the ground floor the spacious living room has a large fireplace with wood burning stove
and comfortable seating. There is a tv with Freeview, dvd and cd players. The dining room has a
second tv and dvd player as well as a highchair. The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker,
fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker & microwave.
The three bedrooms are located on the first floor and comprise of the master bedroom with en
suite bathroom (Shower, wc and basin), a double room and a third room with twin beds. The
main bathroom has a shower, wc and basin. The house is fully centrally heated and wood is
provided free of charge for the wood burning stove. Outside there is plenty of garden furniture, a
barbecue on the terrace and a selection of bicycles in the barn.

The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine,
coffee maker & microwave.
Dining room with comfortable chairs and tv with Freeview and dvd player in addition to table,
chairs and high chair.

Spacious living room with views over the terrace and fields. Large fireplace with wood burning
stove and comfortable seating for 6 people. There is a tv with Freeview, dvd and cd players.

Two double bedrooms and a twin room. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with
shower.

Two bathrooms (one en suite). Both with showers, wc and basins. Central heating in both.

Central heating throughout.
Wood burning stove in living room with fireguard. Wood provided free of charge.

Great peaceful quiet location.
By Les Crowe on 04-Aug-2025We spent 3 weeks at Les Bas Brulays. Paul was kind enough to allow us to take our two dogs. It was an excellent choice. It was like home from home. We spent 3 weeks just chilling out , reading and sun bathing…. Just enjoying the tranquility. The local town Sourdeval was very quiet but catered for all our needs. I would highly recommend this property.
Peaceful retreat
By Michael Kent on 08-Jun-2024The second time we have stayed at the property which provides a peaceful base for a comfortable stay. Great location to tour round rural Normandy but also convenient to get to Mont St M, Rennes, Normandy Beaches, Le Mans etc etc.
