"This was our second visit to Rose Cottage."
By Alison on 17-Apr-2025"This was our second visit to Rose Cottage." We love it for its location, within easy reach of beaches and our West Country family in Axminster & Chard. The cottage is so comfy and well equipped. With 2 children under 4 and a teen, there was everything we could possibly need. The communication with the owners before and during our stay was really good. Thank you for a lovely week, we’ll be back! Reviewed by Alison5.0
"Rose Cottage is a lovely characterful holiday home, cosy, clean and comfortable."
By Jill on 18-Sep-2025It is situated in a very quiet lane yet close to main roads for easy access in all directions. Sue and Phil are very friendly and helpful and came the next day to sort out a problem with the heating thermostat; whilst there Phil also did a couple of maintenance jobs we pointed out to him. The cottage is much more spacious than shown in the photos - in fact, the photos don't do it justice at all. The lounge is colourful and cosy, the kitchen and utility room have all the equipment you could want, it's great having a kitchen/diner separate from the living room with two TVs, and also two bathrooms is a bonus.
The cottage was wonderful
